  1. Thanks sweetie  I saw they are also releasing a song called 'in the stockage' for those in US who had pre-ordered the album on itunes.... Haven't found it yet but I'll keep an eye open ^^ The lyrics have been put in TTB so I hope it will leak on YT soon...*pray* -edit---------- New recording session in FEBRUARY folks!! :awesome: On the city sounds soooo GOOD!! :bomb: Rest of the article here: http://www.spinner.com/2010/09/29/tired-pony-second-album/
  2. cool!! Glen :bomb: It's a sweet picture and you kinda look alike....!
  3. Dunno if anyone knows but this month Q issue (on sale in a few days) is special issue about John ^^ http://covers.q4music.com/Item.aspx?pageNo=6161&year=2010
  4. TRUE...lol!!! He said in a very recent ITV for TP (I quote the man) :laugh3: T-Y-P-I-C-A-L gL answer.. He's a bit of a workaholic but I prefer that as "plain lazy" At least, we have records often! Next year: TP AND SP record (and gigs :awesome:)
  5. I haven't even noticed it  This is priceless (and so true :laugh3: ) As I said before, the all thing is way longer than those small bits. But I love how they colored the image in this blue/b&w color...suits Nathan well :wink3: Yeah, I'm a little bit :dizzy2: by all those differents comments....But if they go 'electro' as TP has gone 'country', I think we're fine :D But it surely will change again when they actually start writing sthg...! Don't surprise me, after all, he also plays 'breaking bamboo sticks' and 'spraying water on a tissue' :D (cf. Up to now DVD)
  6. No I went just for the gig :) Thx for asking though, which band/artist are you gonna see?
  7. :bomb: :awesome:  It SO good to see them all smile...can't wait!!
  8. He was absolutely lovely :) Very easy going to talk to and always smiling at you. Adorable but soooo tall :laugh3: As for the gig, absolutely amazing, probably the best gig I will ever witness. I would say 'perfectly imperfect' as they were more 'busking' than playing an 'organised' concert, but they were all so happy on stage, no ego at all, just pure fun...Pretty humbling experience. Plus, we laughed a LOT thx to Gary's banters between songs :laugh3: Overall magical :awesome:
  9. Thanks sweetie  I've putted the instrumentals of GOTR and DAW.
  10. NEEEEEEEEEEWS on the new album from Tom which makes me :uhoh2: Electronica??? A few days ago, Nathan was saying that 'just say yes' was not really the road they were taking and now, Tom says basically the contrary.... I like JSY, but it took time for me to get used to it.... So basically, the next record will be a mix of TP' feel and electronica...weird mix?!! XD I wonder how recording in LA will influence the sound of LP6.....
  11. a-chan replied to cavenow's topic in How We See The World
Am I the only one finding 5x01 a little dull??! To me it's a 'transition' episode, necessary to move on but overall a bit  Waiting for more on next episode!
  12. Mee!!! Ok, I've only seen season 1 but I found it fascinating. I saw The Town a few days ago (starring Hamm) and it reminded me I had to catch up :sweatdrop:
  13. Me too! Bring it on boys! :awesome: At Arthur's day, Gary said they had to borrow instruments to play cause theirs were shipping to the US (for TP and recording with Jackniff in LA). This simple sentence made me :bomb: :awesome: I hope he'll start blogging soon, I miss recording stories (the bat XD) I LOVE that movie!!! (do youuu really waaant to hu-uuurt meeee :laugh3: ) And I too had a little bontempi  Sorry Jen, we're such babbler... Gary says sorry... :shame: But if one day, you don't know what to do, we posted a lot of cool vids :)
  14. Sorry, haven't found the record version yet but I putted a link of the HMV Forum version that was broadcast on radio on the TP MM thread ;) The quality is good since the recording is from the band. Here the lyrics (the deciphered one!) It’s like a heart made of endless little silver atoms If it’s smashed it’s worth everything it was before So you can start on me like it was my soul intention But it just crashed, and there’s was really nothing I could do And we’re lost but I can barely chart the territory That were carved on the branches of your family tree If you look, you can just about make out my exit But it’s late and I'm pretty sure you're fast asleep On the factory floors and the streets at night there’s a deadly hush You can see the town from the mountainside, it’s not up to much But the breaking point was so long ago that I can’t recall And with creaking joints we climb out of here from the furthest fall You can stare but you’ll never get a rise from me, no I don't care that you’re drunk and itching for a fight But if it’s your only way of making conversation I can live without ever having to find out When the dancing halls and the hospitals have the same feeling Then it’s time to pile your whole life up and just light a fire You can watch it burn but my advice is to turn and run And feel the flames at the back of you as your engine fuel But as soon I found it, be sure I'll put it in the MM thread :)
  15. RHYTHM SECTION RULES!!! That's the ultimate truth :D Yep! And I always wondered how can you learn to play an instrument so quickly without knowing the basics...that's amazing! :stunned: I was pretty shocked when Pablo said he picked up his first bass 2 days before his first SP show and had just these 2 days to learn the songs AND play the instrument! :o That's insane!! DON'T SEND ME BACK IN THE 80'S!! :laugh3: I agree with him here, even if i was a little girl, I remember the colorful, weird Lada Gagaiesque costumes and hair style and all those songs with crappy Bontempi synthesers... (side note: those glasses don't suit you gL!! and bigLOL at the Dr Seuss t-shirt...geez, he loves that shirt!! :laugh3:)
  16. I doubt that, she seemed pretty weird...she's even going just to NY to see him :stunned: that's really dedication! I love gL but I'm never gonna spend my money for 2 days half way at the opposite of the world! My limit is London and 2h in eurostar
  17. October 18.... :bomb: I second that!
  18. I LOVE this ITV!! Always cracks me up to see Gary burst laughing after the sexy 'come on join on our coach of dreams... :wink3:' I'm coming whenever you want boys!! :D I love how they always put Spinal Tap references...XD I love that movie too, it's so funny!! :laugh3: It's nice! You have about 30min where you see them rehearse a few songs for the tour (Rocket, take back the city, crack the shutter and Take these photos). Between each songs they talk about how the rehearsals are going and about each songs. You got to see Richard Colburn too <3 Here a few extracts but the film is actually 30min long [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_UxdYalnW4]YouTube - A Hundred Million Suns Webisode 1 : Take Back the City[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MaVxXnCQy4]YouTube - A Hundred Million Suns Webisode 2 : If There's a Rocket..[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ35i2uilzA]YouTube - A Hundred Million Suns Webisode 3 : Crack the Shutters[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA6jEtpy-tI]YouTube - A Hundred Million Suns Webisode 4 : Just Take These Photos[/ame] And then, there is a 10min film where you see them in the studios in Germany. There is just music playing in the background but you can see them fooling around, or working and even Jackniffe Lee's kids playing around :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP4foKJ7HFc]YouTube - Snow Patrol - Jacknife Lee Studio Safari[/ame] :) There is the making-of & the music video of YAIH' and the recording of EO+footages of them touring with U2 (you saw them at the Stade de France, and I :awesome: every time Gary says with his cute accent 'Stadeuu de Fwrance"... ) I have seen it, it's from the french magazine Premiere (which a movie magazine... so I never understood WHY they ITV SP... The journalist has the most annoying voice EVER and I hate that when they dub over artists.) Yeah he plays piano really well and guitar. He learnt to play bass just to play with SP. Tom says in the Up to now documentary that Pablo can play any instrument (reminds me of our dear Will Champion  ) :laugh3: forgot it was your favorite SP song...
  19. yeaaah :awesome: which means pics and reviews! :D (btw, the crazy french woman is going! Hope she won't harrass him this time...)
  20. You have such a great karma Anna!! Lucky you :D EXCELLENT!!! ahhh Pablo....  I red your all story, AGAIN, so lucky!!! I know my luck, believe me! I still can't believe it...!
  21. Thx for the pics Angie!!! Great shots! News on the album.... Apparently, all the lyrics are free-floated! :o http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/followill-ad-libbed-kings-lyrics_1168106 I'm a little scared about that..we can't say that Caleb is great songwriter...but if this end up like Cold desert (which was partly free-floated), I'm all for it!!! Can't WAIIIIIIIIIIIT :bomb:
  22. +100000 same here with gL, he was really attentiv and 'interested' (?). I will never forget his smile through the all thing. You met James McAvoy too ?!!! You lucky girl!!! SPILL!!! I want to know... :sneaky: +10000 I have one from Flo (thx to Cam) and from one of my favorite writer...really special! +10000000000000
