@Christina: come on, there are some good stuff in the US...! Guess who's celebrating his birthday today...?! :dunce: Pablo says: yeah girls, I'm turning 32..! As soon as the boys got all cleaned up, they're on to another big party in LA for Pablo... :p I can't believe he's 32...he looks younger than Nathan! This event calls for the 'Where are thou Pablo' vid  [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO8I1lWLEuw]YouTube - Snow Patrol - Wherefore art thou, Pablo?[/ame] :D Not Pablo related but some SP songs has made it to the XFM 1000 song book

France nearly have no petrol left! (because of a retirement age increase?!)
In my town, this afternoon, there was only 100 strikers calmly chewing their sandwichs on the main place and across the street, the all police department in full armour (casques, shield and stuff...), ready for a WWIII...! That was hilarious XDD

 me that's 80% that are from UK/Ireland, 10% from america and 10% from France (and rest of the world). :D :laugh3: Yeah, that's GaryL. (note that the point after the L is important XD), it's the fake one on the old SP forum (btw, people still posting on that one.... I never understood why they haven't shut it down when the new one was put up... After gL and Pablo, here's a brazilian ITV with Jonny and Tom (HATE when they dub interviews :/) Nothing new under the sun but Tom's got an haircut :D [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puj62FHJIns]YouTube - 15/10/2010: Metrópolis - Snow Patrol[/ame]

Cold War Kids
:shocked2: single already?!!! Thx for the heads up! I like that song ^^ Bassline :bomb: and the clapping!

Kings of Leon
And that bassline :bomb: the two thing I love most about KOL is Caleb's voice and Jared's basslines  I can't get enough of one or the other! The boys speaking of Pony up [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZUrBmTf0qI]YouTube - The Come Around Sundown Interviews - Part 11[/ame] (they did a track by track on the same youtube channel)

Kings of Leon
oh yes it does :awesome: The only two song that are 'less good' to me are 'no money' and 'my amigo' (this one could have been a b-side IMO). As for the stand out, I'm staying on PONY UP :awesome: , Pick up truck, Back down south, The Immortals, Pyro, The end, Beach side, Birthday...(well, the whole album :D )

Kings of Leon
Yep, you should :whip: but you'll see, especially the first two, it's quite different. The sound is more rough and Caleb mutters lyrics. Very nice ITV in four parts of the boys, you can see them hanging out at home, and play a secret gig. It's nice to see them chilling, just like in the home movies :D (bigLOL @Jared's playlist... :laugh3:) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ocJjQ-hqmE]YouTube - Special UK TV 16/10/2010 Part 1 of 4 - Kings of Leon[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wuzo-33tom4]YouTube - Special UK TV 16/10/2010 Part 2 of 4 - Kings of Leon[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Luj1z9YK9lk]YouTube - Special UK TV 16/10/2010 Part 3 of 4 - Kings of Leon[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13J_IFS6VUk]YouTube - Special UK TV 16/10/2010 Part 4 of 4 - Kings of Leon[/ame]

+1000 With arwen88 we were talking the other day about how irish songwriters were true poets with a big heart and feets on the ground: gL of course, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Iain Archer, Bono...Ireland has all the best  !! gL from Bangor says: YEAH, IRISH SONGWRITERS RULES! (pic from the brazilian show)

Red Hot Chilli Pipers
I red an article on them this morning, and as I was still half -asleep, I thought it was the real RCHP (my brain misred 'pipers' to 'peppers' ), which create an all "WTF?! minute" until I realise my mistake...

I post this here cause what this guy said about gL's songwriting is exactly what I think, I couldn't have said it better. http://ickmusic.com/2010/10/17/the-universal-heart-tired-ponys-the-place-we-ran-from/ I totally +10000000000000000000000000 the following quote That's EXACTLY how I feel when listening to a very few artists (this includes SP, Coldplay, TP, Jeff Buckley...) Thanks!!! Funny to read even it's from 2006. And as I see the guy worked also for the Doves! I would have blushed and smile stupidly just like her XD Yeah, I had to install it too to view the vid..:/ +1000 But we have to choose 'simple' songs (so PPP: one line, perfect for the goldfish memory :D) OR make a sign like 'please play Warmer climate, I've printed the lyrics for you'... :P And think of this girls...they're now in LA, ready to start working on the new album :awesome: (ok, right now they must be still hangover...lol)

Tired Pony
GREAT review of TPWRF http://ickmusic.com/2010/10/17/the-universal-heart-tired-ponys-the-place-we-ran-from/ I totally +10000000000000000000000000 the following quote That's EXACTLY how I feel when listening to a very few artists (this includes TP, SP, Coldplay, Jeff Buckley...) We need more pony!

Kings of Leon
74 € in belgium??? :stunned: That's more expensive than a Coldplay gig! I can't tell you how they're live, never had the chance to catch them live (yet)... As far as I red on this board and elsewhere: the music is good but they're pretty 'cold' with the audience...meaning no much talk, no need to say no banters, no smile...but musically speaking, all good. Maybe you can watch some vids of their gig at the O2 on youtube and see if this is something you might like? As for me, I've started reading the biography and so far, so good :) It's a nice mix between storytelling and bits of the boys ITVs.

/BUMP!! Nice ITV from Brazil with gL and Pablo <3 (and the return of the Elwood t-shirt...XD) http://video.br.msn.com/watch/video/exclusivo-msn-entrevista-snow-patrol/66eyjfmg?from=sharepermalink I like Gary's comment on people asking songs during show and him panicking because he don't remember how to play it... But it's nice how they keep playing songs that people asked for... And Pablo lurks on websites.... :wink3: There are vids and pics of the Brazilian show on TTB main page :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvip2gz0Dus]YouTube - Snow Patrol - Open Your Eyes (Live, Natura Nós, São Paulo)[/ame] Still got the vest on festivals...it's Brazil man, why the vest?!!

Zazie is a wonderful songwritter but I'm not too much into her music.... AaRON is back :awesome: I love the new single and the music video is very poetic... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSOzJaQMeCI]YouTube - AaRON - Seeds of Gold (OFFICIAL VIDEO)[/ame]

+1000000000000 Plus, if he keeps his promise, he won't write about himself so...big change indeed! And I agree with you, the less you know, the better the surprise...! But I know myself, I'm just soooo curious, I can't help reading ITV and stuff... :shame: I really hope he'll write from the studio more often that what he's been blogging lately....(he's our R#42 after all... :P) Now we have to wait patiently...*hum*...Hopefully we'll have some videos from Brazil soon!!

Star wars t-shirts are the best!! As for the lollipops, there is a shop in London (near Coven garden) where they sell all kind of candy with Simpson/Star wars/Hello Kitty package XD but I don't come here for that: GARY BLOGGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The man is back, funny (and hammered XD) as ever!! http://www.snowpatrol.com/forum/default.aspx?cid=28&tid=451575 The meat restaurant anecdote reminded of Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand) one. Alex wrote a book about 'eating on tour' where he shared anecdotes related to food and restaurants on the road and there is a chapter about that kind of brazilian restaurant, it's very similar in its description... :D Anyway, they seem to be in party mode, all of them....I wonder if Jonny had been indeed attacked by a (polar)bear... :laugh3: But my favorite quote: :awesome: I have never seen him so enthousiastic about an album before...He's really confident about its 'awesomeness'...Ahhhh I don't want to get my hopes up too much (in case it's not that great) but I can't help it...  Oh yes, post even if you have nonsense to say PLEASE!

:shame: thanks Anna  Yeah, that's CD3 from the box set (10 tracks). A friend of mine bought it, so she ripped it for me (I've only bought the 'deluxe edition 2CD+DVD). Didn't know the session was longer...I'll try to find the missing ones! Thx Kimi ^^ This is no news since it's from 2006 but, here a little ITV of Nathan where he explains his deep love for...STAR WARS :D. This is pretty cute (and I agree with him Empire is the best of the serie!). http://www.starwars.com/community/news/rocks/news20060224.html I laugh at that quote: "I collect things like Star Wars lollipops, the original cards, and PEZ."... :laugh3: Now I know what to offer him after a show: a Star wars lollipop  I would have expect this kind of ITV from Gary since he's the one always wearing Star wars t-shirts... :laugh3:

AHHHH :awesome: I'm so lucky!! One of my friend was in London a few days ago, and today, the mailman delivered this from her (she's also a KOL fan)... I totally forgot that this book was coming out  but she thought of me  I'll try to read it very soon, I'll let you know if it's any good :) Aren't you curious about what they have made before? You may not like their previous stuff BUT you might love it! It would be stupid to pass on sthg you might like just because you 'don't bother'... :inquisitive: gL has the best tastes :smug:
