^YES OF COURSE THERE ARE- PLUS SIZED, NOT MEANING FAT- IT ONLY MEANS WEIGHT IS ABOVE (OR HIP SIZE) THE RUNWAY INDUSTRY STANDARD. oops sorry - caps off. But also to be fair- many girls working are naturally thin and pre-pubescent looking. They struggle to GAIN weight ! Lori- dont be so judgmental, grouping models as "all of them". Too many false rumours and misconceptions in this market to begin with. Why would girls put up with it all ? THE PAY IS FANTASTIC. With a good agent, as little as I do now- it has at age 20 paid for my new home being built as we speak, and made me comfortable enough to afford my son.

I model, but I dont wear a size one- and never will. But I can tell you- there is a huge underground movement going on now in the industry to push for more realistic size standards. IT'S THE DESIGNERS THEMSELVES INSISTING ON THESE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR THE MODELS. I have had shoots where I was given 4 days to lose a whole size to do the job (I did it) but I only did so because I REALLY wanted to work for the particular photographer to add his pics to my portfolio.
