  7. yeap haha We had a gig (music and food night) and since it (almost) fell at the same time for Halloween, we decided to dress up. The guy beside me was so funny!!! It was taken at a photo booth area I did (like during Promenade, you take a picture as a souvenir before you enter the dance floor)
  8. yeah i was totally having fun! ^_^
  9. I couldn't help but laugh at this!!! nice background! And the boys are snagging different looks! Chris has his hand in the . . . . Jonny's shirt matches the truck Guy looks messed up (but he's still gorgeous) and Will has the only clean, decent get-up that one is funny too! hahahaha... all of them with the long hair! freakin hilarious!!!
  10. Oh, you missed a lot of Coldplay cos that's from the 3rd album already! But, you have a greater chance of seeing them play live. Anyway, best of luck with the both of us! I hope we'll be able to save enough money to see them live. ;)

  13. thank you. :) Sparks is my ultimate Coldplay song ^_^
  14. YOU GUYS ARE JUST AMAZING. Thank you for all the efforts of keeping my hopes up. This is the reason why I keep coming back here, like I told Ren, we are like one BIG GLOBAL FAMILY. :) I really hope they'd visit our country and play so that I'd be able to see them. Or if not, I hope after 3-4 years or so, I'd come to England finally to pursue my dreams and watch Coldplay live. I know in my heart it will be an amazing experience to see them play. Thanks guys. One big bear hug to all of you. :smug:
  15. I don't think the poster would be hard. In the official Postcards thread, the mods asked the people who will make postcards to post their scanned postcard here so that we'd be able to share ideas. If we all do it, one can collect them and make it into a collage for the background then we can put "Thank you Debs". :) Anyway, do you guys think she'll be able to read this? :D I hope not! :P Well at least not before we give her the poster (if we can pull it through) I'm excited for this PFFA project! And yeah, a thank you email for the response will be great! She's putting efforts in us so we should not let her down :)
  16. *agrees with the previous replies* do you know how to change strings? cos if not, you should learn how to. or ask the people in the store to teach you how to. every now and then your strings will snap (especially if its low quality or old strings if the guitar you bought has already been in the store for quite a long time). If you buy original yamaha acoustic strings, its hard (and it hurts your fingers a lot and you won't get used to it. you will have blisters and callouses but it will still hurt like hell. I haven't tried it yet but my old band mate told me that if you use electric guitar strings (which is softer) in replacement of the acoustic strings, it won't hurt and it won't change the sound of your guitar. :D but seriously, learn how to change strings and have back-ups. its pretty much easy how to.

(I don't really want to start a thread this early... I was planning to do this on my 1000th post -Nick's awesome idea-, but then again I couldn't help sharing with you this amazing experience I feel whenever...) I woke up at around 12:20 in the afternoon this Saturday and since I think I'll be having a bad day (I'm supposed to wake up at 9:00 and shoot my cousin for her birthday party invitation), I played Coldplay Live at the BBC and the moment I heard it (Life in Technicolour), my heart just melted and I cried. Yes. I cried. Sobs and all. I got sad with the thought that there is a big possibility that I MAY NEVER WATCH COLDPLAY LIVE IN MY LIFETIME. :shocked2: I know what you're thinking. I'm nuts. Well, see... I haven't seen Coldplay live because first, they haven't been to our country yet (and if they did which I heard rumors of I'm guessing back in 2005 for X&Y... it wasn't as advertised) and I'm financially-deprived to go out of the country to see them (my parents have better reason to spend our money rather than for personal reasons). So everytime I see Coldplay Live (I have a copy of Live at BBC and How we see the World) or their fan-recorded youtube videos, my heart just melts and I cry and get excited and feel tingles and everything. Coldplay is one of my major reason why I strive hard with studies and hopefully come to England to see them. But I still keep my hopes up that our country may be part of the VLV tour, that is why after my 21st birthday, I started saving up extra money just for the concert (fingers crossed). So guys, you should be grateful that you have the opportunity to see the most amazing band play live. I hope they continue to inspire you (as much as they do to me) to "live in a beautiful world", amidst all the "trouble"... yadida yadida... Now I'm just blabbing. :D I love Coldplay. WE LOVE COLDPLAY. :smug: (Don't worry Nick I'm still going to start a thread for my 1000th post *if i get to a thousand*. Its an interesting story by the way. And of course, its about Coldplay. :P)
