Oh geez this is tough. How bad does the rattle sound? It might be that the capo is loose when placed in the 1st fret that's why it rattles when you put it there... or it doesn't lock the strings in place that well when you put the capo. maybe you are using a capo that doesn't match your guitar... or you just have to do some adjustments or proper capo placement. :D

Have you bought an amplifier yet? 3. Did you tune it right? 4. Does your guitar come with lock strings (the option that when you're done tuning it, you can lock it so that it won't mess up your performance)?
