I just talked to a Riverbend representative and was told that the gates open a hour and a half before show time. So, the gates will open at 5:30.

Does anyone know when the gates open? Thanks!

Hey! I've been busy. I am currently tying to get directions to the concert in Indy. Mapquest had me taking a lot of side roads while Google maps had me stay on the main roads. The only difference in time is 6 minutes and about 2 miles. LOL!! I think I'll stick with Google maps.

Same here. I'm coming from Ohio and I want to leave early enough to get there when the gates open instead of getting there way too early or way too late.

I totally agree with you on this. It's nice to see an artist go to some places that probably get overlooked because they are not the big metropolitan areas. When some areas get a major artist to appear in their area it's seen as a major coup and it builds excitement for many people.

I am so looking forward to this concert. First of all, it will be my first Coldplay concert. Secondly, I will be working for Oxfam. I know this will be the best night of my whole life. Anyone else excited about this night?

Maybe they are not open during the weekdays? Some places are only open on weekends during certain times of the year, like January to May. Try calling on Saturday. IMO, I think the parking lot opens up at least 2 hours in advance. Does anyone know if cameras are allowed? I would like to take my digital camera (it's small) so I can get some good pics. The site only says that allowance of cameras are up to the artists.

Sorry, I have no pictures to post but I did want to share a little tidbit I discover recently. I was at a Chinese restaurant and I was reading the Chinese horoscope, and according to the Chinese horoscope Guy was born in the Year of the Horse. People born in the Year of the Horse tend to be very popular with the opposite sex (ain't that the truth), they are the life of a party (I can see that being true), good with their hands (oh yeah), talented and wise (true), they like entertainment (true), and so much more. Basically, everything the horoscope said about a person born in the Year of the Horse fitted Guy to a T.
