The Golden Globes started off funny. When J Lo came out the audience basically ignored her and she had to get them to be quiet. :laugh3:

Yes. I lived in Spain for awhile and my friend (who originally was my penpal) took me to the Barca/Real game. It was very neat and exciting but I had to be quiet. I didn't want people to know that I was cheering on Real. My friend told me that they'll kill me if I cheered on Real. LOL!!

If you go to a Barca match (I'll take you one day) then it has to be the Barca/Real match. I would have to cheer on Real just to tick you off. :D

Sorry for not responding earlier but I had to go to bed so I could get up early today and teach those first-graders who are monsters at times. LOL!!! Today they were not bad. As for Supernatural, well, I never miss the show. I just love it. I don't watch scary movies because they scare me, and I can tell you some stories of some of my silly behavior after watching a scary movie, but I can watch this show. It may be due to the fact that there are two very good-looking, strong men on that show. I like how they are bringing in the angels into the story line this season. Jared is a nice looking dude. I think he looks good with his hair a little long. New episode this Thursday. I can't wait.

Yeah, he does looks really effeminate. I wonder if he has any hair, besides what is on his head, on his body. He's too clean shaven. There was a pic on him in LA and I swear he looked like he had pantyhose on. LOL!! His legs were clean shaven and very tan. What made it so bad was that h was wearing really short pink shorts. :laugh3:

The announcement of the performers will start coming out probably next week. They announcements will come out one at a time (one performer per announcement), or they could wait two more weeks and make an announcement of all the performers.

True, but the ratings for the Grammys have been low for the past few years so a lot of these networks know they can beat the Grammys by airing a new episode. As for the song, well, I wouldn't be surprised if they did sing VLV. The reason why is because that song is nominated for both Record and Song of the Year, it is one of the most commercial known songs nominated that a lot of people (music lovers and non-music lovers) are familiar, and it's a song that stood out the past year. The only thing that could prevent them from singing it is the lawsuit over the song. I would love to hear Lost or LIJ. If they do Lost I would not be surprised if Jay-Z performs with them.

I think it looks interesting and I can't wait to see the video. Though I must say at least they did not exaggerate the band's facial features like they did with the members of Genesis in their Land of Confusion video.

Well, I would stay and chat but I have to go to bed. But, I just want to say that Jensen Ackles from Supernatural is dreamy. I love that show. I don't watch horror films but that show is the closest I can get to anything scary. LOL!!

Well, they're heading this way because a few days after the Grammys they will be in Japan for some concert dates. I am pretty confident that they'll perform but I don't know what song they will do.

You forgot the rest of the band. They wrote that song too. :) As for presenters....actually the whole band could present together. They've asked groups to present especially if there are only 4 members in the group. Now, that would be so cute.

Normally, the most important category is Album of the Year and that is announced at the very end of the show, but yeah, I can see them performing. I am not entirely sure all the nominees from the most important category perform but they might. It really depends on how the Grammys are set up because it can vary from year to year. The only reason why I mentioned Joe is because he's lawsuit could hurt them in the Record and Song of the Year categories. Hopefully, the voters ignored that stuff and just look at the quality of the song when they vote. But, you can never tell with voters. Also, a list of presenters should also start coming out.

I can't believe I forgot about Lady and the Tramp and Dumbo. I have not seen Wall-E but it just won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Film.

Grammy countdown I just realized that we have 28 days until the Grammys. Since it is getting close announcements about who will be performing will be coming out shortly. One announcement has been made concerning performing at the Grammys and that is Katy Perry. She is this year's My Grammy Moment artist. People can upload a video of them singing her song I Kissed A Girl and the most popular videos will be aired during the Grammys while she sings. Personally, I think another artist, such as Coldplay, deserves the My Grammy Moment spotlight instead of Katy Perry. I can't stand her. Anyway, news concerning the Grammys and Coldplay should be coming out. We need to start counting down the days until that magical night. Hopefully, they don't get screwed because of the crap with Joe Satriani.

December because people go crazy during this time of the year because of the holiday. You can't go shopping because people become so rude and they push and knock each other down for something so silly. Manners are definitely thrown out the window during this month. Plus, there's nothing on TV except reruns.

To me, their music is like The Beatles music. When you hear it you feel good no matter. The older the song gets the better it becomes.

I'll do that here soon. I just have so many lesson plans to make this week that all I have time for is Coldplay. LOL!! As for Creep, well, that is one the best songs of the '90s but I only heard that song a few times and that is it. Bye, Izzy. :hug:

Actually, I am trying to defend you in my previous post. I don't have a problem with your opinion (it was just the whole generalization part that I felt was wrong) and I respect your opinion because I do agree with some of the things you said about the state of our education. What I mean by "conform" is that we all can have a view about a group of people but we need to remember that not everyone will fit in with the view that we have of that group of people. I think it would be best if you just skip over his posts and he should do the same so you two don't have these arguments.
