Oy vey! People need to get over this s**t and get a freaking life. Fairy tales have their place in the world of literature and reading and they should not be ditched. You can't sugarcoat things all the time for the sake of the kids. Though off topic but as for Disney films...they're just movies. If they're teaching kids the wrong things then that's probably because the parents are not teaching them anything anyways. Most parents don't want to take the time to teach their kids anything but bitch about things that they think are not PC. :rolleyes:

So what is your opinion of global warming? Do you believe it to exist or is it something that is made up? The reason why I am asking this is because when it comes to science there are two different opposing sides. For example, one group of scientists say that global warming is real while another group would say that it doesn't, and this can also be said of evolution. Whatever you feel about the subject tends to make you believe more of one side no matter what and refusal to look at the information from the other view point. I hate to say this but I can not believe that I agree with some of what Horrific guy, and I do mean Horrific, said. :laugh3:

If they are going to do a stadium tour in the US then maybe the reason the dates haven't been announced is because they're working with the stadiums' schedule. I don't know if the MLB schedule has been announced but where Coldplay could perform are used by MLB teams, even MLS teams, and perhaps collegiate teams, therefore they're going to have to work around those schedules and work in what will fit location wise and so forth. It's easier to schedule a concert at a venue than a stadium because the stadium is used by other entertainment fields. Of course, that is just my opinion so ignore it. LOL!!

The AMA's are not the same as the People's Choice Awards. With the PCA. the amount of space (in the building) is limited so only the winners are invited and are told to look surprised when they are announced, hence Kid Rock's comment about being surprised. With the AMA's the nominees who do not win do show up but they do not know if they won or lost but the PCA are the opposite of that.

Though my posts are often ignored with good reason what I highlighted in bold from a previous post of mine explains the thing with the People's Choice Award. Only winners are invited to the awards show. Very rarely do they have acceptance speeches via satellite. So, this award show is worthless.

I really don't have a problem with The Lounge or the threads in it, but I totally agree with your comment that's in bold. In many ways, it reminds me of school where you have your clicks and groups and it's hard for anyone to become part of something.
