Do you mean the one with the Heaton Park footage? It definitely is. But I like the video about Heathen Chemistry, it shows the greatness of this band.

Best Closing Tracks
I believe not. Regrattably everyone thinks of A Day in the Life as best closing track by the Beatles on this question.
-
Beethoven or Mozart
Besides the fact that I feel obligated to vote for Beethoven because he was from my hometown, I also prefer his music. Easy decision for me. :D
-
White Lies
I agree :)
-
The Beatles
Sgt. Pepper's, then Revolver and Abbey Road as third would be my opinion.
-
Kasabian
I'd die to go to Cologne, the location is great. But I'm writing an exam the next day, that sucks pretty much! :D But have fun (oh, you will! ;)), the concert is definitely worth the long journey! haha :D I like his jacket. And the performance was as good as usual :)
-
The Beatles
Since he only toured the US this year, but hadn't been to the rest of the world with his new album, I hope that he'll play some shows next year. I think it's possible...

Kasabian
Considering the rocking mood, in my opinion there couldn't be a better track for the opener than Underdog. Maybe Empire, but Underdog really animates the audience in a special way. But of course Vlad is a good song aswell, since all songs of their new album are brilliant. :)

The Oasis Thread
Thanks. @coldplay_is_louve: I feel exactly the same. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iul4SBlHIf8]YouTube - Oasis - Don't look back in anger[/ame] The thought that there'll never be something like this again...:cry2:

Best Closing Tracks
How could I've forgotten this song...the outro is epic!
-
Grizzly Bear...
Listened to the album aswell, and I agree.

Do you have any sources for that really strange assumption?

Best Closing Tracks
Amsterdam, indeed. But also: A Day in the Life closing Sgt. Pepper's (The Beatles). That last Pianochord - goosebumps. Plus Married with Children and Champagne Supernova by Oasis, closing Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story?) Morning Glory, respectively, aswell as The Shins' The Past and Pending, which is on Oh, Inverted World. All are extraordinary brilliant.

Arctic Monkeys!
Thanks. Unfortunately not enough songs from Whatever people say... for my taste.
-
German Fans?
Hab' diesen Thread grade aus Zufall entdeckt :D Irgendwie sind Sonntage langweilig... :snore:
-
The Script
Woah, haven't listened to them for ages. But they're very good anyway.
-
Arctic Monkeys!
Nice to hear that, they just have to be amazing at small locations. Any concrete setlist? :)

2009 albums worth hearing
Kasabian - West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum Noel Gallagher - The Dreams We Have As Children (I know it's an live album, but it's brilliant.) White Lies - To Lose My Life... Florence and the Machine - Lungs
-
What are you listening to?
Oasis - Rock'n'Roll Star
-
Kasabian
I've been listening to Fire for months, but it still blews me away every single time I. West Ryder... is definitely my favourite album of the year so far.

***The official "Editors" thread***
I listened to the album, I wasn't able to resist any longer, although I wanted to wait until the album is in my postbox. Whatever :D It's what I expected after Papillon: (For me) Too much Synths, and in return to that, they leave out the guitars. I only listened once to the album, but it was, well, disappointing. I was obsessed with their "old" style, but maybe it only needs a little time until I get warm with In This Light and on This Evening. I desperately hope that this is going to happen, everything else would be a shame. Hopefully, the tide turns for the better...

and now your favourite song by Travis!
Currently Writing to Reach You.

The Oasis Thread
I'd recommend Abbey Road, but whatever choice you'll make, all of them are good.
