  1. This is turning out to be an amazing year for music! I'm not sure of all of the album names but here's what I like. My list for 2010 is: Olafur Arnolds Blindfold (both albums) Efterklang- Magic Chairs Beach House- Teen Dream Baths- Cerulean Biggi Hilmarsson Battles Mutemath Ramona Falls Bear In Heaven Paper Route :D
  2. I'm tied between The Scientist.... and Postcards From Far Away. Both bring me to tears.
  3. I guess I'd say music and writing. I recently figured out a way to combine the two! www.everynotespeaks.blogspot.com :D
  4. Lucky?! Man you must have been touched by Jesus when you were born or something! I'm so excited for you!
  5. Band Of Horses, Dr. Dog, Beach House and Efterklang.... all new.... all fantastic!
  6. The Scientist saved my LIFE!
  7. Its is a sad thing that VLV is what everyone likes most due to the fact its what they first heard. BUT on the other hand, it is good because its drawn a lot more people to them. I've always loved CP, from their Brothers and Sisters days! You don't TRULY fall in love with them until you know all the B-sides.
  8. Not offended at all! I would be happy if you just like ONE of my selections. I had a hard time finding good upbeat songs, because these are all new to me too. I don't know a lot from these artsists, but these..... seperate are great. I didn't really give much thought to them being sort of depressing all together sorry  I guess I'm just a very chill person. But here is the track list: 1: Future Of Forestry- Twilight 2: Jeremy Larson- Today 3: Mice Parade- Swing 4: Air- Playground Love 5: Dr. Dog- The Breeze 6: Future of Forestry- If you find her 7:Iron and Wine- Fever Dream 8:Grizzly Bear- Ready, able 9: Grizzly Bear- Little Brother 10: Efterklang- Monopolist 11: Civil Twilight- Letters from the sky 12: Jose Gonzales- Heartbeats 13: Mozella- Amazed 14: Magne Furuholmen- Kryptonite 15: Dredg- Cartoon showroom 16: Mutemath- Valium 17: Mice Parade- Nights Wave By the way.... you were right about that mutemathy song.... it is them, good ear. I'd love to hear your list too!
  9. Track #1: Its starting off very cool. Its a really mellow sound. I am really loving it. Its sending my mind spiraling, it has such a unique sound, very imaginative.... and I think I know who it is :) Is that Imogen Heap? Whatever it is I like it! Track #2: Another one starting off mellow, which strangely suits my current mood. I love a good instrumental. Track #3: We need to become friends! Whoever made this mixtape has got to be one of the coolest people on the face of the earth. Music means everything to me, and I truly like what I'm hearing off this list so far. I like the vocals a lot, they are reminiscent of a mixture of Phil Collins and Derek Webb. Track #4: I was starting to crave guitar, and here it is! NICE voice! I'm in love with it, and I'm only 1 minute into the song! Its weird, I'm about to put these onto a cd.... and I don't even know what they are.... I like this. Oh! Hello violins! Welcome! Track #5: It has sort of a tunnel sound to it, which is sort of interesting. Different voice.... nice. Ok, this sounds great. Its mellow, but moving at the same time. The strings sound really good with his voice. Nice addition of piano too. Track #6: I know already that I'm going to lose hours listening to this one. The drums sound really good, I would play this loud on a good car stereo. That's where I listen to most music, because it just seems to sink in deeper. Track #7: Good beat. Not my favorite, but I love the lyrics, and will definitely play it a lot. Track #8: Upbeat! But its still chill. Its definitly different, my friends are going to hate this one. Track #9: Good party track. Track #10: I know this one! Lovely, I like it! Pheonix right... whatever it is I'm glad to have it! Track #11: "Electronic" would be my word for this one. Not love at first listen, but I like it ok. Its fun, and I'm dancing! Track #12: OF COURSE I LOVE THIS ONE! The Killers are among my favorites! Track #13: Just ok. I can see it growing on me. Track #14: Are you F-ing kidding!?!? I'm only the HUGEST Mutemath fan alive!!!!!!!! Really! I have been trying to get a live version of this song for ages! Oh hang on.... ITS A MIX!!!! I am floored! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are my new best friend! Wow.... small world! If your a mega-fan check out my youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/lilworkerb and leave me a message! I MUST know who you are! My mix-taper saved the upbeat songs for the last half of the list, which is different but very cool. Great taste. This list is all over the place from electronic to softer sounds, its all very good.
  10. Coldplay is like a candy store. You go into it knowing what you want, but inevitably come out with a million extras! Thanks for sharing the extra sweets!
  11. Chris must lighten up every room he goes into! He's allways so happy, I don't think I've seen him ticked off yet....
  12. People in my neck of the woods do it all the time. To the store, etc. I've even seen a group of teens catching a late-night movie for their slumber party. I think its ok as long as what your wearing is decent and clean. The only real difference in pajamas and street clothes is the lose fit and patterns, which isn't really something to cause a big hoopla over.
  13. Have the mixes been sent? Never got mine.
  14. 1: The Scientist (Saved my life) 2: Yellow 3: Postcards From Far Away 4: See You Soon 5: Ode To Deoderant 6: Viva La Vida (changed music forever) 7: The Hardest Part 8: I Ran Away 9: Crest Of Waves 10: Fix You 11: Sparks 12: Yes 13: Animals 14: Swallowed In The Sea 15: Shiver 16: The Nappies (Fantastic!) 17: X&Y 18: Ladder To The Sun 19: Bigger Stronger 20: We Never Change 21: Talk 22: For You 23: Prospekts March 24: Life Is For Living 25: Help Is Around The Corner 26: Amsterdam 27: Rainy Day 28: Brothers And Sisters 29: God Put A Smile Upon You Face 30: Gravity 31: Life In Technicolor 32: Reign Of Love 33: Moses 34: Politik To choose favorites was.....HARD! But very enjoyable!
  15. How do I send the music from my itunes? I'm "Lost"! I just can't figure this out!
  16. These poor guys! This must be tiring, people constantly accusing you of copying. Out of billions of music videos, some are bound to be alike right? And anyway, that guys video sucked, and his is very different. Talk about a hunger for publicity!
  17. Coldplay....has RUINED all other concerts for me! No one is ever going to be better. Could be cause I was backstage, AND had front row seats, but front or back, they made that night awesome! Read my story: http://www.lilworkerb.blogspot.com My videos: http://www.youtube.com/lilworkerb
  18. lilworkerb replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
Very sweet remarks, you can tell these guys are really friends, guess thats part of the reason for their success.
  19. More live vids from the concert: http://www.youtube.com/lilworkerb and even more to come! Thanks guys for featuring my videos, I freaked out all over again when I saw them! They put all their effort into performing, they involve the audience more than anyone else, and they are not big headed, tho I think they deserve to be!
  20. This is the video where Chris Martin touched my hand: AWESOME! You can hear when I freaked out, lol.
  21. I think I may have been sitting next to you. Me and my niece had on the shirts with all the album art.
  22. That concert was the best night of my life! I never screamed like that before. Chris Martin even grabbed my hand, then I REALLY freaked out. My niece won a radio contest to go backstage, and she took me. Yeah I cried a little. I put pictures on my blog: http://www.lilworkerb.blogspot.com and video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/lilworkerb
