Reply Not alone at all! haha :) I had this idea that they may do something each day of the week, fall silent on Friday through the weekend, then come back with some mind-blowing update/new single on Monday. That would just figure! Get our hopes up then leave us hanging for a few days. Let's hope there's something today!!! >.<

Title You know, these lyrics seem to evoke a very "happy" or "joyous" or... "alive" feeling or sentiment. It makes me wonder if the title of this song is the aformention "Alive Day". I think it would fit perfectly! Not too much longer till we find out, I suppose!

Reply I agree. I think it would be more likely that they are clips of actual songs that may be on the album, but I like the thought of it all being an introduction to a song. I could run with that. :) Regardless, the end sounds awesome and I can't wait to see where that plays into things! Hmm... We need a second studiofeed.

Possible First Single Idea I just had an idea... What if the music clips in the studiofeed are not clips of all the songs they've been working on, but are clips put together purposefully for a reason... If the first single is "Alien Radio" (granted that it's titled that), what if what we're hearing here (minus the spoken words) in the studiofeed is the intro to the song, as if flipping through radio stations, and then what we hear at the end is the actual song coming into bloom? That would be veeeeery interesting...

Approval If you ask me, I think "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" has already gotten Will's approval. I mean, look at that one photo of the band where it's painted up on their wall! Do you think he'd want something painted artistically up on their wall that he didn't care for? But, honestly, I don't find anything wrong with the title. I have a feeling that once we have the song itself, it will fit in all the better and make more sense. I don't understand the extreme dislike that is being shown towards it. There's some interesting imagery within it!

Interpretation To tell you the truth, I took the photo, zoomed in and edited the quality a little bit, and it appears to actually say "Stray" for the second word. I think I'm going to go with that one.

Reply I actually had a dream about this last night where the picture was zoomed in on and focused. The subject matter was supposedly in a Romeo and Juliet fashion, but I don't remember the words having anything to do with that when I saw the words. Hopefully they'll stay away from that particular story. . . . . .

Reply Understandable, except for that this project wasn't really something he was trying to put his all into. It was just a fun project that he and King Creosote have been working on over the past 7 years just to see what would happen, and this was the result. Naturally, Jon Hopkins' best work will be found on his own albums, but just enjoy this for what it is. It is a good remix of Anderson's songs, after all. :)

Famous Old Painters More specifically, the brass came into the third verse of the song, rather than the entire piece.
