Remember that "overrated" does not equate to "bad". Heck, as much as I enjoy Radiohead, I don't think they're the second coming. In general, I'm not a big fan of these threads since they rely so much on general perception rather than the true quality of an artist, however.

Does the vinyl even come with a booklet/sheet? (It's the only one with The Goldrush) Heard before that it's Eno, but I don't think it was solid word.

Probably something by Travis, especially since Chris is such a big fan of them. Flowers in the Window or Closer?

It's interesting; I don't generally venture into the picture or pairing threads, so I'm probably spared some of the more "extreme" comments. Obviously that cuts off at least half the threads, but I'm able to get some good discussion in the others. Since I'm not a girl, I can't really relate, but I do sometimes enjoy taunting Berrygirls in the Twitter thread all in lighthearted fun. Generally, I'm fine with some of the fanaticism as long as it's contained to the "Phil is Hot" or "Miller is Hot" or whatever threads. Likewise, I'm fine with it in people's signatures as long as it's not vulgar. If we want to balance things out, perhaps the rest of us can generate some more discussion about the music. ;) Great, now I'm determined to think of something... :thinking:

The Hardest Part / Postcards From Far Away 67 + Viva La Vida 26 - Slowly but surely...

You know, that's actually the one complaint I'm seeing in multiple reviews for this movie. I see two main reasons for the talking dogs - A) Comic relief. Many of the movie's laughs came from Doug, and they acted as a nice reprieve from a story that was otherwise surprisingly deep and serious. B) The kids. As just mentioned, the story is really down-to-earth for a family friendly movie, but in the end, it still has to appeal as a family friendly movie. This is where the more "Disney" side breaks through and personifies stuff. Notice how even the ads for the movie advertise Doug a lot.

Back in the day when I got yearbooks, they were only 60 pages long and were only filled with material of the students. Coldplay in your yearbook is awesome, although I'm not sure why they slapped the Satch nonsense into there. Anyways, can you guess what the number of days remaining for me is? 42! Thus, I need to do something special Coldplay-related today. :D

Guy needs to go to Tweethab. Tweeting Rehab. I mean, on-stage? I hope he doesn't ever miss his part because of his tweeting. :P

I was mainly referring to VLV and Lost!, but I still think the Violet Hill one is just okay. Best part is the ending, but I don't find anything too special up to that point. ;)
