  1. I have a spare ticket for the Crystal Palace concert on mon 27th which was bought for a friend who now doesn't want the ticket as he is going to Glastonbury. If anyone wants the ticket it is open to any offers. And I won't sell to some suspect newbie who could be sly little fox and screw me over.
  2. ahh, yeah....that's true. Strats do sound unique and I probably will get one someday, a custom one with a humbucker (like Tom Yorke's). But for now I am a Tele man. I also am loving the Gibson acoustic that Chris Martin is using at the moment. Every time I hear those they just sound incredible and look.....i dunno....so easy to play, I guess.

I can do any guitar/piano stuff too! :D
  4. ahh, I see. I think some look ok but the worst and cheapest looking guitar EVER is Hank Marivns bright red strat with gleaming white scratch plate. makes me want to puke :disappointed: :)
  5. mmm, I aint a strat fan myself (unless it's an all black custom one with a maple neck) but what colour are you getting?
  6. he really shows his intelligence when he makes jokes, really funny sometimes.
  7. shiver....mmmm  although I thought you were responding to Kapone, but you were replying to the topic name...
  8. I missed that one too
  9. no thanks :(
  10. ha ha. pretty funny.
  11. tuning ; E A B G B D# I am putting the chords used but I havent put them into a structure so you just have to listen and work out the order toplay them, its not too hard: INTRO/BREAK: Emaj7 0-2-0-1-0-0 and Emaj7/F# 2-2-0-1-0-0 Then when the song kick in it is the CHORUS chords, which are: Bmaj 7-X-7-8-0-0 F#m7 2-X-2-2-0-0 A9#11 5-X-5-6-0-0 Abm 4-X-4-4-0-0 VERSE: Emaj 0-X-5-4-0-5 Esus2 0-X-5-4-0-3 Bmaj X-X-0-8-0-0 Bmaj7 X-X-0-3-0-0 Bsus4 (ish) X-X-0-9-0-0 BRIDGE: C#m13 9-X-11-9-0-0 C#m9 9-X-12-9-0-0 Bmaj9/F# 2-X-2-3-0-0 Bmaj/F# 2-X-2-4-0-0 Bmaj X-X-0-8-0-0 Bmaj7 X-X-0-3-0-0 B7 X-X-0-2-0-0 PRE CHORUS: Abm6 4-X-6-4-0-0 Bbm7Sus4 (ish) 6-X-8-6-0-0 B6 7-X-9-8-0-0 C#m6 (ish) 9-X-10-9-0-0 4-X-5-4-0-0 Late on in the song the repeated ''I'll always be waiting for you...'' chords are: Bmaj 7-X-0-8-0-0 Bmaj7/A# 6-X-7-8-0-0 Emaj7 0-2-0-1-0-0 That's pretty much all the chords i think, I have all the proper chords and names written down else where and this was about all I could remember...it should sound fine
  12. yeah, the gig Coldplay did for the X&Y launch in June 6th. It was on radio 1, that gig was at the KOKO Club in London.
  13. yeah, I was lucky enough to see the KOKO gig. Was very good and I think the smaller venues work really well with their music and also the way chris talks to the crowd. However, I am still looking forward to seeing the new stuff at Crystal Palace. Glastonbury is the weekend before that gig so I guess we can see it on a larger scale before then.

    Yup! :)
  15. hi, there.....i am sure someone on here will record it and if they do they will let you have it for free I would guess. Look out for a webcast on the net somewhere too, coz they might be a site with a stream somewhere. Lets just hope for both our sakes that Hamberg has many coldplay fans that are willing!
  16. mmmm, I don't think the hype was quite AS big as Be Here Now by Oasis. Also, back in 1997 when Be Here Now was released there wasn't the huge amount of people who just download music. If you wanted it back then in decent quality then you had to buy the CD/Vinyl. (Recording a mates copy to tape was just crap)
  17. I am a big Doves fan....ermmm off hand I think the chords are something like.... :idea2: This is just the intro bit..... The picking bit probably is played fretting only the first 4 strings (e-B-G-D) Bm (with a sus. 4th) 7-9-9-7-7-0 Bb (with flattened 5th) 6-8-8-7-6-0 Fmaj 1-3-3-2-1-1 & Fmaj7 1-3-3-2-1-0 alternating Cmaj x-3-2-0-1-3 then Csus4 x-3-2-0-1-1 then Cmaj x-3-2-0-1-0 then Cadd9 x-3-2-0-3-0 I aint played it on guitar there and I can't exactly remember. the picking can be done using these chord shapes I think but again , I can't remember if its right until I can play it.
  18. ha ha, yeah, I think I have one of Speed Of Sound but you can't make out the music coz it was just so loud.
  19. hi, I wasn't someone who camped over night but I was there around 4-5am ish. If you were one of those people who let random friends into the queue on the afternoon before the gig then  but if you weren't :D it was a great gig wasn't it! A great queue highlight was seeing the touts get parking tickets...
  20. What's the point. I havent even read all this post so I don't know what everyone has said while I write this but I love Radiohead and also Coldplay. They are both very different bands and I don't get why the so called fans at the radiohead site are THAT bothered about badmouthing Coldplay all the time. They aren't doing themselves any favours and I don't want to be part of their crowd. I am more of a fan of Radiohead than they will ever be and I don't have to waste my time by having such pointless debates that alter nothing. It's just to make them feel as if they have done something worth while with their day. EDIT: I hate you, all you pointless time wasters.
  21. no problem. ;) I took many pictures but lots were rubbish.....either lots of motion blur or pure bright light from the stage lights. Was a great gig and I feel so privileged. :)
  22. New Years Day by U2
  23. Yeah, the Don't Panic version was excellent!..Jonny played the riff from 'Enjoy The Silence' by Depeche Mode in the middle section...sounded great!!. :D
  24. mmm, sorry for the double topic post. The site was playing up.
