Crystal Palace 27th vs 28th
I am a big Interpol fan and wish I was there on the tuesday. But I also love Supergrass so it was good no matter which night I went to. Interpol ARE good, great Infact. If you haven't, give their albums listen for a while and you MIGHT be suprised. I saw them at Brixton last and they were bloody amazing. The albums just suck you in after a while. If you have seen them live on TV (like on Jools Holland) don't be put off by the terrible sound...they didn't sound like that when I saw them and I doubt they actually did in the Jools Holland studio, just the BBC has rubbish sound guys (truely). There albums certainly sound really energetic as well as blissful at times.

I just saw Rob Thomas do a soundcheck
Yeah, Rob Thomas & Tom Cruise should go live in a log cabin somewhere. They would be happy.

Glastonbury 2005 - A poor performance?
I think it was a good performance. Yes, there was the odd note off here and there but it was WELL within the musical acceptability. I mean chris always sings out of tune notes at some point but I don't ever think of them as bad, they just happen and then they are gone. I have got the full thing on a DVD as video now and I watched it again yesterday & the only thing that irritated me was the sound of Will's floor tom. It obviously wasn't his fault it was the fault of whoever was responsible for the BBC's output mix - but it just sounded BAD.

Live8 Possible Running Order
I heard the band practise Bittersweet Symphony with Richard Ashcroft before the crystal palace gig on the monday. It sounded really good.

Tabbing
I want one of these programs too actually. I have guitar pro but it's not what I want to use for this type of thing.....Just the only reason I don't put lots of tab up here is because typing the things takes too long.....

Crystal Palace Train Lanes!
Yeah, I noticed that actually.....I was in the left lane to London Bridge. I was actually quite suprised how quicky we got back to London. At times I thought we would never get moving through the crowd but it did move faster than I expected. What time did you end up getting home then?

Coldplay gig Review Crystal Palace Monday 28th June 2005
nah, nah mate you are wrong. (also, the gig was on the 27th) I agree, low and white shadows were great but I would have liked shiver or spies in there instead of twisted logic. Swallowed In the Sea sounded great tonight as did Low. I was at the front and the guitars really kicked in loud at the end of Low  Its a solid set but it does miss Shiver, Spies and maybe Sparks.

Coldplay on BBC3
'cant get you out of my head' cover cracked me up

for a moment I thought this was done with drums submitted by eddiefofl but I just realized he didnt do this one...... Pretty good work Kapone, its has a similar sound to the original at least

A very good way to play spies
I play it kinda like that, well nearly exactly actually. I love playing Jonny's guitar for Spies. And Chris' chords are pretty good too.

Nice one. So it's all up to Ian now... :guitarist:
- Still #1!

do you think think x&y will be coldplay's last cd
no way, are you kidding. at the album launch gig at KOKO I remember Chris saying that he loves coming back to camden to play and that he would see back here in a two years or so (when they next album is released). They won't give up yet, I put my Coldplay collection on it.

What about Talk ??
they probably just havent got it sounding great live yet or they can't do the song justice live.....they might never play it........but I think they will, hopefully on monday when I see them.

ah right, so you actually want one to attatch.... Like this http://www.zzounds.com/item--AUTAT831CW its a miniature cardioid condenser mic that mounts directly on the guitar with an adjustable clamp adapter. Another approach is to use a wide-response cardioid condenser mic on a stand or short boom with the mic pointing at the bridge of the guitar. If ultra-close miking is needed, avoid placing the mic too close to, or directly facing, the sound hole to avoid a "tubby" sound.

if your acoustic doesn't have an output then you need to stick a microphone on it. An if you are using a mic you probably want a XLR to> Jack lead....you might need a standard jack to> 3.5mm adapter depending on the inputs you have on your computer. (thats IF you are recording to you computer, which you probably are)
