I have never felt that it is "uncool" to like Coldplay. Maybe I am just oblivious. Being honest, I don't think I would feel comfortable wearing any of their merchandise, but I can say that for several bands. That is pretty much the extent of my discomfort. Whatever, I guess...

I remember listening to The National Anthem or Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box and thinking WTF is this? Especially from a band that made a kick ass rock album like the Bends. Eventually, I have grown to love the Kid A and Amnesiac stage as much, if not more, than others.
