  1. I'm watching right now and loving every second! I literally screamed when It started! :)
  2. ^Exactly! I keep thinking that once I become old enough and have that job that I can pay for my tickets with they are going to retire! Right now all I'm able to do is get to Hartford from Long Island, but once I graduate college nothing will stop me from going across the globe! Not even the gargantuan college loans that I'm bound to have to pay. :)
  3. Lights will guuuuuide you home And igniiiiiiite your bones And I will trrrrrrrrry to fix you
  4. Happy Birthday Guy! <3
  5. That would be epic. He has so much information and random knowledge and is hilarious that i'm sure his show would get the ratings. Except Jonny would have to be there in his band at least because Chris would be lost without him. And Will would then need to be there to keep them in line. And then Guy would need to be there because...well just because everyone else is there. Hmmm, maybe its just easier for them to stay as Coldplay for the rest of eternity and do the occasional interview?...:D
  6. No don't say that! I need it to be good in order for me to be able to start, finish, and analyze it for class next week! I'm reading Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult at the moment. Love her books.
  7. omg! I saw that magazine in Barnes and Noble today and made my mom stop and appreciate how often Coldplay shows up everywhere in everyday things and how truly worldly and amazing they are. It was a good moment even though she rolled her eyes and kept walking.
  8. oooo I love the tour diary! Please coldplay bring us another tour diary with a live DVD! *crosses fingers*
  9. Today I was driving for my drivers ed class and I was about twenty minutes away from my school when I drove past a little Mexican restaurant. Now, this would be a normal occurrence, there are many Mexican restaurants in New York, if it wasn't called "Viva La Vida"!! I seriously held back a squee, but couldn't stop grinning for the rest of my drive. It didn't help either that during the lecture portion of my class the article we were reading was called "Don't Panic". I love it when Coldplay pops out of nowhere on otherwise crappy days:heart:
  10. I just put my entire Coldplay collection on shuffle before I go to sleep...well I do that at all points of the day, but I guess the point is that many Coldplay songs are just mellow enough to play before bed and the ones that aren't I hit skip when they come up. Either way I go to bed with a smile on my face.
  11. In My Place live BBC 2008
  12. I know Chris said something like Violet Hill was a big Jonny fest on the Viva la Vida interview disk thingy, but I don't know if it came from that... edit: Chris said "Its very much a Jonny fest."
  13. was it just an unreleased song? i always thought it was just another random b-side...either way i still think its one of Chris' worst lyrically and that it just doesn't flow as well as their other songs.
  14. Don't kill me, but for the longest time I could not listen to and could not stand Politik... But I love it now probably more than any other Coldplay song. One that I particularly don't enjoy is A Spell A Rebel Yell, and I always skip over Idiot and Animals. Maybe theres a reason they were made b-sides in the first place?...then again I love The Goldrush and Crest of Waves so can't really rag on all their b-sides.
  15. ^^^Thank you! I can't wait to see them, get a t-shirt and now these bracelets! I know its not silly, but with the way most of my family talks you'd think I'd suggested the most stupid yet hilarious thing in the world by saying I want to get Coldplay items. Whatever, their loss!
  16. These bracelets are sold on the merchandise stands at the concerts right? I want to get them, but my parents think its silly to want them just because Chris Martin has them and they aren't going to be with me at the concert I'm going to in May so I figured id get them then with my own money...
  17. Hmm, well thats good to hear I suppose. I do think shes just using Guys fame to promote her own business and opening up about their relationship to make people more interested in her, but even though I see that ulterior motive she still seemed like a very genuinely nice lady...
  18. Another question... When do they usually release who the support band will be? Is there a usually time or does it change on a tour to tour basis?
  19. My brother is a non fan as well, but he is the most accepting of my four brothers of my love for Coldplay, can drive on major highways and bridges, has a camera, AND he is paying for my ticket as a birthday present! Your brother is a real sport to have went with you and taken all of the pictures, as well. I'm pretty sure that even though ill have a camera ill be too busy watching/singing/dancing to take anything and just hand it off as well:D Go crazy! Come on its Coldplay, you know its going to be worth the money to get there and pay for the ticket!
  20. I'm pretty sure I would faint if they came up for a part near my seat so I understand your reaction completely! You're so lucky they are coming to your town too, I still can't get over the fact that I got my brother to drive me nearly three hours from long island to see this show! I realllllly want them to keep the setlist they have now, maybe adding some more prospekt songs, but overall just keep it as it is with all of the awesome songs that ive always dreamt about seeing live. Next Coldplay concert I go to i'll complain about adding different songs to the setlist. :D
  21. I'm just a worry wart. I want this to be awesome, but I wont be happy until I'm sitting in my seat May 23rd.
  22. I never understood why someone would go to a concert just to watch the screen... Does anyone know if the seat numbers go up or down from the wall? It makes a big difference on whether ill be one of those people watching a screen or the stage due to a wall possibly being in my face...
  23. I dunno, maybe someone on here who has been to this venue before knows? Either way I'm glad I still got a seat rather than being on the lawn and chancing my ability to see/hear the show, even if they can come stand right there.
  24. This is my first 'band' concert ever, so I'm considering it my first real concert. I went to a So You Think You Can Dance tour show and two Tim McGraw shows a couple years back, but I'm pretty sure those will be nothing compared to this! Hopefully we can catch some Coldplay karma from these veterans for our first concerts:D
