For Citi and AmEx, cardmember can get pre-sale tix with a promo code they get thru email or something. Sometimes, it's even earlier than the other pre-sales. Of course, you have to pay with the card (duh! :rolleyes:) BUT people still complain about it.

Yeah, I understand. My sister was like "Aren't we going together?" :rolleyes: I'm like, "yeah, but I don;t wanna buy two tix." Then she says, "but then we'll be apart." Oh, dear :dozey: I'll guess we'll just try to get into Ticketmaster thru our separate accounts, and see what we each get offered on the presale on Feb 20 at 10am.

^Erick, I have read about it on older pre-sale threads here on Coldplaying (because Coldplayers like to search :lol:) Some people posted that they got good seats by buying a single ticket. Maybe two. But, yeah, it seems as if searching for one tix increases your chances. That's why I'll try to buy a single Raleigh tix, as well as convince my sister to buy separate single tix for Tampa.

Oh, just wanted to say that Colbert referred to Coldplay today on his show, sort of... He was saying how he TIVOed the Grammys, and was showing bits of it to see if they category he was nomitated for was on the show. Of course, it wasn't, and he lost to Al Gore. On his rant against Gore, he says "the Grammys are stupid anyway" or something like than. Then he says, "they gave Rock Album to the cashiers at John Long Silvers" (show image of Coldplay picking the trophy) Whenever this is on ColbertNation.com, I'll post it here. VERY FUNNY! :laugh3:

Never done it, but I trust Erick :smug: Besides, we'll send you tons of Coldplay Karma! :D Also, I'll buy a tix for the Raleigh concert on pre-sale to see how it goes. I have time since the Tampa pre-sale is a week later than most (Feb 20 vs Feb 13). If I get a tix, I'll keep it and go to NC, or sell it for just the same amount it cost me (to a Coldplayer, of course)

Yeah, it seems that most concerts will be sold thru LiveNation. So far, ticketmaster only has 4 concerts listed (San Diego, the 2 in Washington state, and Dallas) Shucks! :P

Hi! To answer your questions: 1) Not sure. On the TicketRush FAQ it says that sometimes pre-sales are limited to 4 seats. Yet it depends on the artist/venue/concert. 2) Nope, I don't think so. As long as you remember the password, I think you'll be fine :) 3) Who knows? These pre-sales thingies are tricky. But if you want lawn tickets, make sure you request for the lowest priced ones when placing an order. I think that way you'll get lawn tix.

You're right! IF the Coldplay concert is listed on Ticketmaster, just go directly to Ticketmaster and type the password (which is easy to remember).

There could be a presale on Ticketmaster, if only they posted the concert on their website. Right now, there's only four concerts posted on TM :\

Stupid :dunce: scalpers! :veryangry2: According to Live Nation, tix will be around $37-$97 for Tampa. EDIT: that's the price without the fees. Other locations, like Sand Diego, is a tad higher. Just sign up for Ticket Rush. Some fans will be buying tix before us, so they can tell how it went.

I think Raleigh concert is before the Charlotte one.

mmmm.... You know, I was thinking on going to Raleigh by train. Leave the 5th, sleep on train overnight, arrive in Raleigh the 6th in the morning, go straight to venue, wait for Coldplay & enjoy concert. My mom has a friend in Raleigh, so I hope she would let me stay at her house. About returning: If I only go to the Raleigh concert, then I'll take a train back on the 7th, sleep overnight, then arrive to Tampa at noon on the 8th. Enough time to recover, and prep for the Tampa concert the following day. Sounds crazy, but it could work! :lol:
