That was one guy but I can pretty much say that NO ONE thinks this sounds like Radiohead. I know people will but I love Radiohead and Coldplay but I think they sound nothing alike.

AND I really wish we could stop calling LP5! Just give us the album title, jeez! :P

If it is on LP5, I feel like they could have gotten away with it as a second single and done a more traditional song for the first...

I don't see how synths are any less of an instrument. It still takes a great amount of talent to make something that sounds good and to play something good, whether it's a synthesizer or a piano.

I think people are taking it too seriously maybe. To me, the lyrics don't mean THAT much to me but I just know that when I'm ever upset or uninspired or whatever, I can play this song and I will immediately feel better again! I feel like that's what it's supposed to be! :)

Oracle just said that the album wasn't going to be like this and we have no idea what's going to be on LP5. I don't see why everyone is losing faith in Coldplay right now just because they don't like a new song. I'm sure everyone has songs from there favorite bands that they don't like all that much. :confused:

Seriously it's one song! There's going to be more songs for an album and it's dumb to just stop liking Coldplay because of one new song. :shrug:

Coldplay are most definitely not a dance-synth band.

I think they should only have one dance song on LP5. I would love for them to explore more genres and have every song different and hopefully they will have a Parachutes-type song on it! :D
