  1. I love synth. Idk it just felt like trying too hard. But that's just in my opinion
  2. BUMP! We've all abandoned these threads now that everyone is tumblr lol Just felt that this needed to be in here: Blur’s Dave Rowntree has said the band will “definitely” do something together again this year. In an exclusive interview with Gigwise, the drummer said he and his bandmates had been discussing ideas “a lot” over recent weeks. But he said they had yet to decide whether to record another one-off single like 2010’s ‘Fools Day’, or a full album. “Who knows that it’s going to end up like,” he said. “What I do know is that we don’t want to commit ourselves to anything vast at the moment. “We’re dipping our toes in the water, which is why we did the ‘Fool’s Day’ single in the way we did.” Calls for Blur to release a new studio album, which would be their first since 2003’s ‘Think Tank’, have intensified since guitarist Graham Coxon rejoined the group for a series of gigs in 2009. In December, singer Damon Albarn revealed that plans were in place to for the band to enter the studio this month. Rowntree said the group had yet to record any music, but confirmed they were talking and “trying to put something in place”. “We’ve got all our mates back and that’s the main thing. That’s the one thing we don’t want to lose,” he said. “So yes, this year I would say something is definitely going to happen. Quite when, I don’t know, and quite what I don’t know – but yes, we’re all back together again and great mates." http://www.gigwise.com/news/60689/Blur-Will-Definitely-Do-Something-Together-In-2011 aww ilu Dave  Ah also, now I'm friends with Graham on facebook and he's left Dave a couple messages, definitely think things are in process.
  3. Exiting! Feels not too long ago back in 6th grade when Is This It came out and getting my ASS cd cover confiscated at Lutheran school lol. I hope it's good, really. Fuck knows they're all still amazingly talented, they still of course have that on stage dynamic seeing them live this summer. But I hated Jules solo album ugh so I hope it's not like that.
  4. :shifty: lol It's not a solo album or anything of the sort, he has a highly possible new The Good, The Bad and the Queen album out this year, an album already recorded with Flea and Tony Allen, an opera, possible new Blur songs, and a movie soundtrack, they just grouped that all under his name. However I'm surprised NME had him at #4 too. And just LOOOL NME ranking albums before they are even out, so ridiculous. Also lol they would put Arctic Monkeys at #1, but naw I'm exited about it too. Thanks for the lists Paula
  5. I kind of want to see them :curtain: (even if it's just to see Jeff again :P)
  6. It's Jamie's preference in the end. I don't care if it's music or art or whatever, not everyone likes everything. Morons jesus.
  7. You're welcome guys! The first link didn't work for me either, tried to install some damn toolbar  That's awesome! Oh god, I know people are bitchin' about it, STFU JAMIE HAS SPOKEN!
  8. Live Compilation http://www.megaupload.com/?d=C5HDMZZ0

  10. Yeah some people on the GU forum made it, I enjoy it quite a bit!! :wacky:
  11. Poor Alex, it's not the most flattering pic. I'll PM it to you Perrine
  12. SOOOOO. That picture of Alex's penis. Yeah. Good stuff.
  13. truth!
  14. I think I can say that The Good The Bad & The Queen is the one album he's made where I love every song on there! There's always a couple tracks on Gorillaz albums that I'm too fond of or a few Blur tracks I skip i.e. Crazy Beat :p Love it when Damo steals Gra's glasses :wacky:
  15. ^ no not posted yet, thanks. Ahh no you guys, my friend Jen who was at the show in LA said Snoop Dogg never showed up for rehearsals and they don't know what happened to him, he didn't return Damo's phone calls. Poor Damo, guess that crush is over :P
  16. yayyyyyyy  Graham was so lovely today!
  17. yay! Anyone going to any Graham shows this year? He's coming to TX but I know that's still too far for me :(
  18. I'll miss the Clash sanmich too :( On Melancholy Hill got so overplayed for me, I still like it but don't listen to it that often.
  19. Meh, I can't see him putting Gorillaz shows away forever, always says daft stuff like that. I think he meant with that specific crew of people. They all seemed to have a blast together and even all the get the same tattoos :P I bet it was a sad last night, so that's what I'm thinking he meant.
  20. MGMT's Congratulations & Arcade Fire's The Suburbs. Don't kill me, but Neon Bible was my fav. and I thought they might top that this time! But The Suburbs are my least fav. or their albums. With that said, it's still good, just didn't meet my expectations. AND M.I.A.'s Maya, still good but no where near Kala.
  21. THE GOOD THE BAD & THE QUEEN, BETCHES.
