  1. But winning things is fun!
  2. Awesome!
  3. I hope I can go, though I'm not sure that if I went, I'd get there early. (Let's hope it doesn't rain!)
  4. I live for those, but I never know how to describe them without making it sound like the experience was drug-induced or totally spiritual :laugh3:
  5. The Gallaghers make me smile. It'd be a full-on giggle, but my roommates are sleeping.
  6. Be forewarned, traffic around the Nissan Pavilion is an absolute nightmare! The Radiohead show was a disaster (granted, it was raining a lot, but it's the norm to take 2-3 hours to get there from a place that's really just 30 minutes away). If you're attending this or any concert at this venue, do try to get there in the morning and hang out, seriously. The way the highway/roads are there and they way they manage parking are terrible. Unfortunately, the only decently-sized amphitheaters in the DC area are in the middle of nowhere. [ / rant ] That said, I hope everyone can make it to the concert on time! Once inside the venue, it'll be loads of fun.
  7. They've changed it up a bit, though, and I've heard/read a few complaints about it :/ While not huge, they've gotten bigger, so they've tried new things.
  8. If you were a wizard who lived on a moon that had its own moon, you'd think normal things were weird. :laugh3: The wizard had a 'weird' dream.
  9. There's a C&H thread? How did I not learn of thus until now...
  10. Ah, so cool! I really like the way you drew everything, it looks great :)
  11. I haven't been in this thread in so long! But I felt that I had to comment on Roadie #42's lovely photo. :bomb: (Also, lol Chris)
  12. No Surprises, with 15 Step and Idioteque tied for 2nd.
  13. lovingChris and I shall form a violin duet.
  14. Where's 'profusely apologize'? I blurt out 'sorry' by default, even if it means I'm apologizing to a chair...
  15. Mm, the Oracle just answered a question about it. The more I read about Will's musicianship, the more awesome I realize he is.
  16. Not anymore :laugh3: I'll just go by this name. And thanks for the link, Briggs!
  17. I'm your doppelgaenger! Or your evil twin; you tell I'm the evil one because of the glowing. I'm jealous of anyone who's seen Muse live; they seem like so much fun.
  18. Not going to lie, I really wanted to post in that thread. (Whenever I see the title, I think of Liam Gallagher reading it and stifle a giggle.)
  19. It's still displaying this month's password, though: http://promo.livenation.com/ticketrush/ (where http://www.ticketrush.com redirects)
  20. I liked them as a kid, but didn't really 'understand' them (which was probably a good thing; I think I would have become an even more awkward and pensive child otherwise), so it was really fun to continually rediscover the same songs as I learned more about the meanings and paid attention to the composition. And, of course, Radiohead have some great soundscapes! Part of me wanted to join a marching band right after that performance. Thanks for sharing! :o
  21. My mom is a Radiohead fan, so OK Computer was part of the soundtrack of my childhood. Also, Spiceworld and Ray of Light. :laugh3:
  22. I've been reading this thread for a few weeks, but I've never posted :/ I suppose I should break my silence...
  23. Happy birthday, Chris! Hope to see you in Toronto :)
  24. This proves it: I absolutely have to see them live. Someday!
