  1. One for each of us please :D No problem, my mom really had to leave early, but I knew I'd hear something awesome on this thread! All this means is that I have to see you guys again next tour!!! I'll be starting a little Coldplay Concert savings fund.
  2. My thoughts exactly :laugh3: But, again, that's amazing and you sooooo deserved it; I'm brimming with Berrygirl pride and solidarity
  3. (Random thought, but if you shrine it well enough...I bet you could clone him sometime in the future. At any rate, it's super fucking amazing <3 You deserved it!)
  4. That's awesome! And plastic pretty much lasts forever  Do tell us if you drink out of it.
  5. That is the most wonderful signature :D
  6. Don't forget to breathe! We're on the edges of our seats~
  7. I feel like I have to apologize for screaming too; it was really adorable and I couldn't contain myself. :laugh3:
  8. I think you'll be fine! Stay composed enough to give them some Coldplaying hugs :)
  9. Congrats :D Just poppin' in to say that Guy + Twitter = Awesome.
  10. This song is the anthem of my life; I'm so excited for a video! (And I'm kind of excited to be on the forums when it comes out :P)
  11. I've been away from this thread for so long, I'm such an idiot :laugh3: But I have a backlog of weekly thread updates to check out all summer. Hopefully I'll upload my good photos by next week, but I want to see everyone else's shots too!
  12. I'm pretty sure; the setlist seems to be pretty concrete. I'm also kind of surprised at the crowd response in those YouTube videos; everyone around me knew all of the words, and we were definitely loud, so I hope they got some energy from our section, at least. (The boy and girl next to me were dancing and having a great time; Coldplayers at heart, if they're not members on here already!)
  13. Aaaaah that was amazing! Got there much later than expected, but still managed to snag a spot near the front, and met some of you awesome Coldplayers :D I hope Liz gets on soon, I'm dying to hear what everyone thought. I'm almost positive Jonny smiled at me, but I don't really care, the whole experience was beyond words. I hope the next album doesn't take too long, as I need to see them again in this lifetime, and I hope I see some Coldplayers too! I'll upload pictures when my laptop gets fixed, hopefully this weekend. Zoe - You got a setlist? That's awesome! :bomb:
  14. Hopefully you'll drown out my cracky, mucus-laden vocals :laugh3: Even the Twitter search is updating too slowly for my inner impatient fangirl.
  15. I hope I'm over my cold by tomorrow, but I'll definitely be there super early. The Coldplaying pit is going to be an awesome crowd.
  16. Why can't I vote trashy, annoyingly catchy and talented?:(
  17. I think she tries a little hard to be over the top, but I'll admit that the songs of hers I've heard are pretty catchy. And it's nice to see a popstar who can sing, dance and write their own music. It'd be nice if she wore pants more often, though.
  18. Ugh, I hate that. It's like, do you not find it weird that 4 bands/artists claim to have written the same melody? And it's not like it's the only song they've ever written, sheesh. (If it's cool to hate Coldplay because they're popular, is it counter-cool to take the unpopular stance of liking Coldplay?)
  19. This and Madonna's Ray of Light were probably the two albums my mom played most in the late 90s, so the two will always be connected in my mind  But I really liked it when I was little, even though I didn't pay attention to lyrics back then (which was probably a good thing). I thought they all sounded 'fun', especially No Surprises. For some reason, I thought it was a song about going into space. The whole album would have been my soundtrack to the moon. Also, the thought of 'buzzing like a fridge' made me giggle. (My actual buzzing annoyed my sister.) When I actually started paying attention to the lyrics and really considering them, it was like discovering a brand new album. They made me think, which gave me a new appreciation for music in general. I really enjoyed just sitting back and contemplating each track. The Tourist, Exit Music and Fitter Happier also became favorites. I'll also credit OKC inspiring many sad conversations with Microsoft Sam and, along with Don't Panic, getting me into Hitchhiker's Guide. (I'm starting to understand why I thought this was an astronaut's album.)
  20. I just wanted to chime in and say I love technology, and I love Coldplay fans :)
  21. I agree with the_gloaming; this place has a friendly, homey feel. I was afraid of interacting with band 'fandoms' because everything seemed like a competition or a snobfest, but you guys are really nice. I like all of yooou :D
  22. I don't have enough time to give the album a good enough listen to answer the mini-questionnaire, but I do want to say that I adore Fake Plastic Trees (and India Rubber). Just and Black Star are tied for a close second, and the rest are closely behind that. 1/3 of the time, this is probably my favorite album :P
  23. Only to return for a permanent reunion! Right? :S (I'm also kind of irked by the term "Radiohead model;" lots of independent bands had been doing that before, and lots of fairly mainstream bands had given their albums away for free. I'll definitely admit that they're the biggest name to do it, but now any artist who gives anything away is automatically accused of copying them, which isn't fair. I mean, even if they were, who doesn't like free things?)
