THis made me laugh too.

My stomach is hurting from laughing so hard. I feel bad! No wonder why some people call her ADELEPHANT Anywho, she is gorgeous and 21 is breathtaking. I heard the album back in January and now I'm just tired of it being everywhere and constantly played on radio 10 months later.

I hate! Nothing wrong with being funny and playful but I think they tried too hard and failed. Now, I'm not going to waste my time hating the video when I can just enjoy the song (one of my favorite form Mylo Xyloto)

We ALL knew this was going to happen but I think it's the timing that shocked us.

I will disagree with this. Mylo Xyloto is NOT an average album.

I think this is a big FU to Paradise which is still climbing the charts. And for God's sake, the video was just released last night. It's way too early for a third single. They should have waited until December.

We guess. Let's see, it starts with "Chris Martin" busting out of a London zoo and stowing away on a flight to South Africa. There, the ambitious elephant gets himself a unicycle and rides out to find three bros already practicing some deep cuts. "Chris" takes over lead vox and following a brief rehearsal process, the pachy-band are then transformed to a packed arena where they perform for an adoring crowd. It's unclear whether that's really Martin and his bandmates in the furry suits during the Africa scenes, but it's safe to assume that's them during the live set. And that unicycling elephant who takes his head off on a unicyle? That sure looks like Martin (see photo). It's light, it's silly, it's cinematic and it comes the same week their intense collaboration with Rihanna, "Princess of China," was leaked on the web. That song will be released as a single on Oct. 25. "Paradise" and "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," the album's first two singles, have sold a combined 1.14 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Aside from all the song releases and leaks, Coldplay will also be busy on the TV circuit. They'll appear on "The Colbert Report" on Thursday, "The Today Show" on Friday and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Oct. 27. On Nov. 12, they'll return to "Saturday Night Live."

Anyway, I looove the album and if it doesn't sell well, maybe they'll release another one in a year or 18 months :D

Both X&Y and VLV sold over 700K in the US during their first week. I think AROBTHH sold 300K and Parachutes 60K (not really sure about AROBTHH though) However ALL 4 albums sold between 2 & 3 millions. MX will sell over 2 millions (that's pretty much a given) but the real test is the 1st week of sales, it has to be bigger than X&Y (which is their best sales week in the US) MX needs to have a good staying power (which shouldn't be a problem with POC, CB, HLH, these songs can become huge and crossover hits)

Anyone on here, listened to the Brandon Flowers solo album, Flamingo?? It was one of my favorite 2010 albums.

Agreed! As a victim (that's how they call the Killers fans) I can similarities especially on CB then DLIBYH. I've always thought The Killers and Coldplay had a lot of stuffs in common. So this is no surprise to me. Now, The Killers need to release another album, they haven't since 2008 just like Coldplay.

For the US chart, the first week (from Oct 24 to Oct 30), the sales will be huge. Anything under 700K will be a disappointment. Expectations are high and the album rollout is enormous. They can easily get 1 million. We'll get the first estimates on Monday night or Tuesday morning.
