i had a dream where i got a 42 on the ACT. at first i was so excited b/c that means i was just a super genius who went over highest possible score of 36 & actually scored a 42. but then the president of the college board came & told me that that was actually my SAT score. i was about to have a heart attack, then i woke up sweating like crazy w/ my heart pounding. not joking, this seriously was a dream i had

well, the very first song i ever heard by them was clocks, but it was like the end of it, just the "home, home where i wanted to go." this was back in '03 when i was 9. i also heard the scientist on the tv for a commercial for a children's hospital, but it wasn't until 2008 that i knew it was the scientist. i just remembered the "nobody said it was easy" part, & i had no idea who sang it or what the song was called. anyways, when i was younger my brother used to be really abusive & would beat about everyday, & as i was in my room i would just lay in my bed crying my eyes out, & all i could ever think was "home, home where i wanted to go" & "nobody said it was easy, it's such a shame for us to part. nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard." they were always there for me & i love them for helping me stay so strong. anyways, my brother & i are very close now & thank God he stopped hitting a couple years ago. i started getting reeeeaaaallly into coldplay in about august/september 2008. this was my sophomore year of high school. before this year, i was so used to always getting straight a's & being number one in my class, but this year was just so hard for me. it was the first year i took an AP class, & my grades were just not as good as they usually were. i fell completely in love w/ coldplay on september 7, 2008 when i heard violet hill for the first time on one tree hill. but it was on october 25 when i was balling my eyes out & feeling like such a failure from my slipping grades & i was just begging God for a sign that things will get better, & i will be able to focus more & school would get easier. for some reason i decided to put it on saturday night live right after madTV (something i usually never did) & less than 2 minutes after i was begging God for my sign, i hear seth meyers say, "ladies & gentlemen, again, coldplay." i wiped my eyes & heard lost for the very first time. i just cried more b/c this was the sign from God i was begging him for. especially "You might be a big fish in a little pond, doesn't mean you've won, cause along may come, a bigger one." coldplay literally is my sign & gift from God. this really is why i love them the way i do

OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSS!! THANK YOU GOD!!! glee is such a great show & i'm sorry but it just made the guys look so duechy that they wouldn't let them sing their songs!!! obviously no one can do coldplay justice, but i know glee will do a pretty damn good job!!

my english teacher told me how in 2006 his friends dragged him to a coldplay concert & he said it was probably the worst 3 hours of his life. i was like, "you didn't even like clocks?!" he's like: "clocks is probably their worst song! it's just a bunch of whining to some organ music!" then he tried imitating chris going, "ooooohhhhhhhhh" in a whiny voice.

everyone knows i'm a super-crazed coldplay fan, & my friend asked me what was going on w/ that song on 60 minutes she actually really likes it & has been waiting for it to come out! that made me laugh that she thought i was like their rep

i really don't want them to split up b/c they really really loved each other. just listen to the amazing songs he wrote for her: moses, fix you, swallowed in the sea, etc. for those 2, who loved each other so dearly, can't make it, then really there's no hope for the rest of us

WHHHYYY???!! i'm a HUUUUUUUUGE glee fan & i would love for them to do a coldplay song! i'm actually quite surprised that they'd agree to use vlv in an itunes commercial for the publicity & money, but they wouldn't agree to a show like glee, which encourages everyone, even outcasts, to follow their dreams in music no matter what anyone says. coldplay always does humanitarian projects, i'm just shocked they wouldn't agree to this!

but, most coldplay songs aren't really that dark and, i'm afraid this is probably the only circumstance where a coldplay song wouldn't really be the best choice

honestly death and all his friends doesn't really have to do a lot w/ death, it's just about cycling & recycling revenge (you kill my friend, i kill you, your friend kills me, one of my friends kills that friend, etc.) i think God Put a Smile Upon Your Face would be best b/c it's about what happens after you die. if you were good & never crossed the line b/w good & bad which humans don't really know where is, "don't ever say you're on your way DOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWN." (don't say you're going to hell.) 42 is also a great choice & you can work w/ that a lot & makes the most sense!
