so I had never heard about these guys until I read about them here in WoM. I saw this link this morning and thought I'd check it out. Love what I'm hearing so far!

But was that really Jack's dad, or was it Smokey masquerading as him? :thinking: I can't remember... yes... I think that actually makes sense that it's *NOT* actually Christian. Remember, we saw Claire with "Christian" at one point... and then this season she ended up with Flocke. So, I *think* this whole time it's been Smokey in the guise of Christian. That's my theory, but I'm probably completely forgetting/missing something! ;)

^I love how their kids look like completely normal 5 and 4 year olds. I've got a 4 y.o. girl and a 2 y.o. boy and they dress exactly like this! Not like some children of celebrities who walk around with $300 purses (I'm looking at you Suri Cruise!)

@Elena- yes, he sang it to a guy that night. (Yes, Kimmi- the vid's from my show, though it's not my vid :D) Just before the song he was commenting on how it looked like everyone was having a good time... except for that guy. He then started singing to him. :lol: @Kimmi- I'm doing fine, thanks... just busy! I've found myself on a bit of a SP kick these last few days. ^that's a good theory. Unfortunately, that makes me worry that Desmond will be the one to have to "catch" smokey, for lack of a better word, since he's seemingly immune to the electromagnetic energy. I wonder if Widmore had something along those lines in mind when he told Desmond he'd have to make a sacrifice. and yeah, that's true about Hurley seeing Charlie, etc. hmmm... :thinking: Oh, and I just remember the random boy in the jungle that MIB keeps seeing... it must be Jacob, right? "re-born" somehow?

my dvr cut off the very last bit... I just saw Locke (in the AR) wheeling across the street. Des hits him? On purpose or accidentally? Gloaming, I agree completely about the look Jack gave Locke. and Locke specifically addressed him only (aside from Hurley). Looks like it's shaping up to be Jack v. Locke? And what Michael said about not being able to pass on... do you think maybe that's why Hurley hasn't seen Libby's ghost? She was able to pass on- she didn't have anything to atone for...? I can't imagine that Desmond's trip down the well would be the end of him on the island... I'm anxious to know what happens to him!

Meredith! :hug: I think it'll be a while before they're back, unfortunately. :( I saw a brief little interview w/ Gary that was done around the time Up to Now came out. He mentioned their next LP would be out next year (that would be 2010). Let's keep fingers crossed it'll be out by year's end and that they'll tour the US sometime early 2011. That seems like a loooong time from now, but realistically, I think it's the best we can hope for here! btw, I love your avi. I :heart: Desmond! edit... ok. that book scared the crap out of me when I first read it. enjoy! ;) I'm reading a vampire book myself at the moment... the Sookie Stackhouse books (that the series True Blood is based on). Easy reads and fairly entertaining, though I'm not completely sure how I feel about them just yet (I'm on book 2).

^Yeah, I kinda think it is... He's not a horrible actor, he's just too pretty for the part. I think someone like Heath Ledger would've been good- but since that's not gonna happen, perhaps someone along the lines of Jared Leto? :thinking:
