Bumping...:D I FINALLY watched all the Up to Now docs this past weekend and absolutely loved them. Now I can't wait for them to tour again!! I hope Coldplay gets something like that DVD together soon!

^yeah, I know tons of songs sound similar, and I'm not accusing him plagiarism, but to me, when I first heard Heartbreak Warfare, I immediately thought of U2. It definitely diverges, but one part (can't think of specifically which right now) specifically, maybe a bass line or something, is VERY reminiscent of Bad. Not saying it's a bad thing, but that's what I hear. ;)

Wasn't a big fan until I saw him live a few years ago. He's awesome live. Get to see him again next week! my favorite songs are probably Slow Dancing in a Burning Room Gravity Love Song for No One Clarity Dreaming with a Broken Heart I haven't had a chance to really listen to the new album, but I do quite like Heartbreak Warfare. I saw him on Storytellers last weekend talking about the song, and it was nice to hear him admit that he knows it sounds a lot like U2's Bad. I couldn't stop thinking that when I first heard it!

It's considered an embryo until around the 12th week, at which point it becomes a fetus. In any case, I don't think it's okay to kill anything. That's not the point (at least for me) of being pro-choice. My point is, it should not be up to the government to determine the course of my life for me. Women have abortions for so very many different reasons. Some I completely agree with, others I don't. I just don't think it's my place or anyone else's to tell them they can or can not do it, when it's something that so dramatically impacts their life.

I know I'm jumping in to this late, but... No, it's not always the best choice, but then NOTHING is *always* the best choice. Yes, there are many women who regret having had an abortion, but I'm sure there are just as many who made that decision and have had happier, more productive lives because of it. and, in general, I think it's important to note that just because someone is pro-choice (as I am), doesn't mean they are anti-life. I don't know what I would have done if I had been faced with a pregnancy early in my life... but I do know that I wouldn't want someone else making that decision for me, based on their perception of my circumstances. I completely agree with what Lauren said a couple of pages ago regarding the Supreme Court's decision on the matter.

that's awesome. Something like that is a MUCH better souvenir of a great concert experience than a t-shirt or tour program. Glad you get to enjoy it all over again! and you're absolutely right, more bands (I'm looking at YOU, Coldplay!) should do this!
