HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE
wooow, this is the biggest collection of theism I've seen on a forum in a while. Can we make a Jewish thread too?

XD Yeah, all the vids I see on YouTube and all the comments on this board promise me that a Coldplay concert is practically a religious experience :laugh3:. I haven't really been to any full-fledged concerts, allthough my dad took me to this place downtown called the Jazz Factory a lot when I was a little younger. It was amazing, all the artists would talk to me afterwards and stuff because I was so short and little and young-looking and I actually knew what the hell was going on in their music. They always seemed so amazed. :P

Balderdash. I have been making straight A's taking advanced/AP courses my entire life, have a 4.0 GPA while I'm taking AP, college-level classes (I'm a freshman in high school) and in addition to this, am also very smart in non-school disciplines. (See, there are some people who get good grades and still manage do be pretty stupid generally... anyway, I don't mean to brag, I'm just saying.) While I have to say that high school is not exactly the best judge of intelligence, I'm a smart person. And if it sounds like I'm bragging, I'm really not. Usually if I ever act stupid it's because I intend to for whatever reasons. Additionally my father worked at the National Institutes of Health for about ten years and is very intelligent even though he's also getting kind of old and therefore kind of stupid. But he still knows... lots and lots and lots, especially about math/science. And he likes Coldplay also. Then again we could just be anomolies. Also I also like Bob Dylan, who's supposed to be for smart people, so that might have something to do with it.

Apparently. ;)

Nah. I only became a Coldplay fan kind of recently. This is nice though, because almost no largeish bands ever even come to this area basically at all. Did you go, or something? And I'm pretty sure your point about the classical bits is irrelevant, because in an actual symphony hall, people are veeerry quiet and there's, you know, an actual orchestra. :P

has anyone read this about 9/11
Silliness. They just took a bunch of random facts about 9/11 and pruned out the ones that didn't have to do with elevens. :\

Some of them are kind of funny. The ones I liked were: Whose cruel idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have a "S" in it? and If the "blackbox" flight recorder is never damaged during a plane crash, why isn't the whole damn airplane made out of that stuff?

I have no idea how much 50 pounds is, because I'm not from Britain XD. I feel so culturally irrelevant. That's very good for someone who hasn't done much art lately.

My Scientist Cover
You can tell you didn't really spend a super-long time on it or anything. That said, it's pretty good. You might do well on American Idol or something (if you have the "personality" or whatever needed for them to keep you on -- that show is so much about ratings it's ridiculous ) You have a pretty good voice. :)

oooh, that is fun. I don't use acrylics very often cause they do tend to dry too quickly for my liking. I basically suck at painting, though... so in actuallity I don't really use much of anything very often. :P

I might actually go to this. Pretty exciting. However I would have to sort of drag my father aallll the way down to Cincinati (we live in Louisville) just to do ONE thing, since I am not quite officially old enough to drive (out-of-state.) He says he likes Coldplay, though, although he's also said several times that he doesn't really enjoy non-symphony concerts for some reason, because it's so hard to really hear the music. Maybe we could both get tickets, or something. Fingers crossed.

Nice job. I did a self-portrait a little bit like that in art class, but it was not nearly as good as this. What paints and so forth did you use?

How much do you love Coldplay?
Evidently just enough to spend time on this forum every day. :P

How do you get tens of thousands of posts??
It's a very good life skill to have. ;)

How do you get tens of thousands of posts??
My advice is not to worry about the post count. Just do what you want, don't seriously offend anyone too deeply, and enjoy your time. Not that I have a lot of posts or time or anything to back my opinion up, it just seems like a good life philosophy to me.

Public Pretending (Pavement Panto)
And all I'm saying is that I already pointed it out. That's it. Job done. What you're supposed to do is laugh at me for being so stupid and hopefully feel better about yourself because you aren't as stupid as me. I mean if you want to point it out, fine, if I really minded I wouldn't have posted it. It's just been pointed out already. This is a silly conversation. I'm sorry. You go ahead and point out all you want to point out about my character flaws or my presumed idiocy. I really don't mind. I don't want this turning into an argument or something. :/
