  1. Yes it is sad, isn’t it? It’s almost as sad as objectifying and dehumanizing someone based upon their looks, which I think happens all the time (media does it, we do it to ourselves and each other). Not to say that there is anything wrong with being in love, or thinking you are in love, or admiring someone for their grace and talent, because sometimes those feelings of “hope” and appreciation are all someone has to keep them going in this world! All I’m saying, is I think it’s dangerous to spend all your time in your head, and not really living your life. Thanks for the response! :)
  2. "Baby It's a Fact" by Hellogoodbye :)
  3. Great sentiment and great picture of Jonny and Chris! Thanks for posting this thread --it's making me very happy to read about what makes others happy today! ^_^/
  4. i've a terrible admission; i have great difficulty getting hot and bothered over sexy-fit men --or women! ;) --because i am, myself, neither sexy or fit! i get started on a really great fantasy, and then...well it just seems so wrong/improbable, i just can't carry it off--not even in my imagination! the sexy-fit person starts whispering sweet nothings in my ear, and my imaginary self starts giggling, ruins the mood, and the whole daydream comes to an abrupt end... oh well. ^_^ of course, there are exceptions to every rule... *^_^*
  5. well, it changes all the time, lately it has been "i'll see you soon" the live version from 2003 dvd...
  6. "hide and seek" imogen heap. (just how it goes, sometimes.)
  7. "shiver" *^_^*
  8. "Don't Panic" from "Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Coldplay" oh, wait--now it's "Everything's Not Lost" :)
  9. Thank you for posting the set list! So at the March 19th show, Chris replaced the "Gnossiennes No. 1" by Eric Satie with "Four Seasons In One Day" by Crowded House? Interesting! I'd have never thought it (though I love both of those); the Satie piece just seemed so "right" and haunting in that transition spot, would not have thought it would be changed, but then Coldplay varies things all the time. Does anyone know if there is captured video of this? Thanks again! ^_^
  10. Stuttering Timelines? I am slow, I guess, that when I saw the video for "Shiver" I never thought anything about it except that "Wow! Chris decided to pay homage to the Stones!" And I still think that is probably the truth of the matter, but history HAS repeated itself something fierce, at least visually! Here is the ever compelling Mr. Jagger: And here is Chris; such a baby face! Was he even shaving on a regular basis at that point? ~^_^~ np: Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Coldplay : "Politik" oh, wait, now it's "Don't Panic"...
  11. Franz Ferdinand : "Evil and a Heathen"
  12. one should almost never say/write the first thing that comes to mind. and I'm sure this is no exception. aarrrrrgggghhh! can't stand it. have to! apologies in advance: "you don't drink, don't smoke, what do you do?..." *^_^* okay, enough of "sa"-me! enjoyed reading this article very much, thank you for posting!
  13. The White Stripes : "Seven Nation Army"
  14. so about the actual topic of the forum :) --i just finished watching the apple tour about the new shuffle, and while small is good if you are using it for while you exercise, voice-over is entertaining, and it's great that it has a new playlist feature, i don't think that i would like having the controls on the earbuds cord; i'm way too hard on earbuds--tend to damage and lose them not infrequently! there is also the "don't actually need it (a new shuffle)" side of things, too. ^_^ fun forum though! thanks!
  15. *^_^* *^_^* sorry--lost context for a moment--saw your post (quoted above) then saw pic insert of jonny... momentarily quite confused! :D
  16. a-ha: "the living daylights"
  17. ^_^ :) Enjoyed reading your posts; glad you had a good time! I think that life-on-tour must be sort of comprehensively surreal. Between the prime meridian crossings, circadian rhythm shifts, the swift, immediate interactions during and surrounding a show along with all that concert performance intensity, and swings between being able to sleep and not and trying to remember what day it is and where you are... it must be beyond wilding!
  18. thanks! much appreciation to you for posting the playlist! it's fun to try to track from show to show what stays the same and what doesn't--what seemed the thing to play at the time, and what didn't. i'm sorry if this is a typical question, i'm new here. do you know if anyone hereabouts ever plays one of those prediction games, where you try to guess for example, what the encore songs will be, or how many times during a tour certain songs will be played and such? thank you!
