  1. Been listening to X&Y the past couple of days, and can't stop pressing repeat on Swallowed In The Sea. Over and over and over. Can't get enough.
  2. Can't wait for Community, should be a nice addition to 30 Rock on Thursdays. Oh, and Hera--LOVE the picture from The Fall. I'm basically obsessed with Lee Pace and Pushing Daisies. :D
  3. Hey guys!! Longtime Muse fan, but I've mostly sticked to the Coldplay stuff on this board...anyhoo, just listened to "Uprising"--I like it! Maybe I sound stupid, but what's USoE? Is that a single that was already released?.. Thanks guys.
  4. Wow...I think I've got to start considering going to Boston this weekend. I wonder how long the drive is from Houston?.. I dunno how big the pit is in that venue, but at Cynthia Woods, it was TINY. Strange, though. Maybe less than 50 people, so pretty much everyone had a great view. (Except for this stupid little kid behind me, but like I felt sorry for him--he was playing on his friggin' DS the whole time, according to my friend.) But the pit is ALWAYS worth it for Coldplay. Lots of butterflies. :D Good luck persuading your wife! :)
  5. Hey!! That's me! In the crazy yellow shirt! I'm Luisa *shakes hands* You could've come talked to me, I wouldn't have been freaked out :) Actually I met up with Brenda, a fellow Coldplaying member (yellow745 I think it is?..) at the gates before the show. She's the one next to the girl in the blue shirt next to me. I wanted to find fellow Coldplayers as well, but I didn't see anyone else with crazy t-shirt/costumes :( Maybe they were dressed normally? Ah, well. Btw LOVE your shirt! :)
  6. Okay. So I'm definitely in the "fanatic" category...I may not seem like it from lack of posts and pictures and signatures and all that, but I'm just computer-illiterate. It was AMAZING. Front of the pit. Amazing. Oh God. Chris was inches away. INCHES. I could go on and on.... Anyway, where are pit seats cheaper than further seats?? Wtf?? I want to be there! But I was lucky with my pit tix--found 'em on stubhub for about $160 each, which is actually not much more than face value plus fees. So I was happy. So worth it. Eight years old? That's awesome!! My brother's that age right now...I wouldn't dream of taking him to a concert though, he'd just be on his friggin DS the whole time. Well, as for my 12-year-old cousin...she kept worrying it'd get loud, as her parents warned her to get earplugs. She did get some from one of the security people, who just had bunches of them for themselves anyway, and she kept plugged in for the two opening acts. I was a bit worried, but it was her first concert--you just have to get used to the noise I guess. Then when Coldplay came on, I noticed she'd taken them out :D All was well!
  7. Gahh if only I had a spare few thousands lying around...they should do a lottery instead. Make just as much money and maybe a poor person can win!
  8. Oh, and I forgot to mention: Phil was taking pictures RIGHT in front of me, and I had the greatest urge to just pet him. He's so adorable!! Gahh. But I resisted. ;) Also! I was with my little cousin (well, she's twelve) and after the show, a roadie was reaching down with a guitar pick. I immediately reach out, but he's like, "For the little girl" ! Just because I'm not little doesn't mean I don't want a souvenir! Just like at baseball games...ugh.... but whatever. I worked out a deal with her. I have half-custody :laugh3:
  9. Hey guys! Just spent the past hour or so reading all the posts of the concert...it was AMAZING. I was front and center with Brenda--Chris just inches away!! But he didn't ever look down directly at us, which was sort of annoying. Though we're both convinced Guy was looking at us :smug: Thanks for the pics everyone! And the videos--that high five!! I'm jealous! It may sound crazy, but I hate taking pictures/videos during concerts...I get so distracted. I'm no good with a camera anyway, so I just don't bother and leave it up to other people. And you guys obviously did a good job :) We stayed after too to try and get some autographs, something, anything! but the jackass security guards shooed us off. They were mean about it, too. Ugh. But whatever--someday, somehow, I shall meet the boys! This was only my third concert, but by far the most amazing. There is just no beating the front of the pit. I mean, last two, I was basically in the nosebleeds, far as could possibly be. After this experience, no more! I tried yelling at the boys individually--they either didn't hear most of the time or just ignored me :( BUT when Chris was playing Postcards, and the rest were getting ready for VLV, I screamed, "HEY WILL!!" and I think he actually heard, as he like lifted his arms in greeting or something :D So that was awesome. Anyway, great show, will miss the boys--until the next show!
  10. That sounds awesome! Basically, my t-shirt is my sign... :laugh3: Oh no--don't get freaked out by ME. In the past, my friends have just pushed me in front of them in the pit because they want to watch me go nuts. They think it's hilarious. I can't help it either!! I mean, it's COLDPLAY. This is going to be the most amazing concert I have EVER been to. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and you're staying late for autographs too? Good...nobody ever wants to stay after with me...I'm glad I've found some fans crazy as me! :D I don't know how I'm going to go to sleep tonight...I'm bouncing off the walls.....
  11. No, I'm going to be there with my cousin. She's twelve. Hopefully we won't get heat stroke. Then again..it'd be worth it! :laugh3:
  12. I dunno. How early should I get there? Does anyone know? I basically want to be first in line. I might just hit the Woodlands late in the morning and scope out the place, hang around, then jump in line. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S TOMORROW!!! We've been looking forward to this for MONTHS!!
  13. That is spectacular. Don't be afraid if someone fitting my description just comes up and hugs you.
  14. I told my cousin that if they ask, she's fourteen. A small fourteen, but whatever. She's not a baby. I'd rather her come and see this AMAZING concert with me than end up her first concert being like the jonas brothers with her friends or whatever. Haha. And like someone said before, Coldplay fans are chill.
  15. Ooooh your Guy shirt? What does that mean, exactly? ;)
  16. You know what? I'd love to. My friend is also working until 4:30, which I can't be mad at her for, but STILL. I have the chance to get to the front of a Coldplay concert and I give it up?? I can't do that!! Sorry. I keep justifying myself, over and over. It's driving me mad. What's your name? What'll you be wearing? I'm Luisa, by the way. I'll be in the crazy-ass bright yellow t-shirt scribbled all over with Coldplay lyrics. :D
  17. I'm going to be a total dork and wear this crazy-ass t-shirt I made for myself, scribbled all over with Coldplay lyrics. All my favorite songs. ALL of them. Fully decorated, with a strawberry on it and lots of fabric paint. Some glow-in-the-dark too. And it's bright yellow. I wear fancy clothes and heels to proms, not concerts! And probably a comfy flowy white skirt. Comfy shoes. Yeah. I'm planning on rocking out. :D
  18. Wait, do you mean that in a, "Oh my gosh, she's ONLY! TWELVE!" or in a "Oh my gosh, she's old enough, she's TWELVE!!" way? Cause my cousin's twelve, loves Coldplay, is nearly as tall as I am (I'm eighteen and full grown), and we have a pair of pit tickets we are so not about to give up. Going to the Houston show on Wednesday, btw.
  19. Hey...anyone looking to upgrade to a 2nd row seat, hit me up. I have a section 103, row B ticket that I may not end up needing. Does anyone know how difficult it is to sneak someone into the pit section? I've never tried it at Cynthia Woods...only a couple of other small Houston venues...I have a pair of pit tickets, but my friends are iffy on trying to join me (two of them). They may end up keeping the first trio of tickets I bought...ugh it's so complicated. Anyway, yeah, someone who's been to Cynthia Woods, any info would be much appreciated. Maybe it's mean, but I may end up going extra early by myself to get to the front. :\ I'm sorry, when it comes to Coldplay, I'm uncompromising. Is there going to be some kind of meet-up for us Coldplayers who are hitting the pit alone? Thanks guys!
  20. Hey guys...reposting from a while back. I've got four tickets altogether for the Houston show on July 22nd, three for section 111, row C, and one for section 106, row B (second row!!). And if anybody has a spare pit ticket--yeah, I know, right--please hit me up. God, I suck at this whole getting-good-seats thing. I originally got the section 111 during the presale, then found a good deal on that lone second row seat that I just couldn't pass up, but I'm going with two friends, and it's rather difficult finding three seats together. So I got a pair of pit tickets but cannot find a third one. Dunno what I'm gonna do, really...maybe my entire family will just go with all these random tickets I have...dammit. The third girl isn't even my friend, she's my friend's friend. Ugh. I don't even like her that much...okay, sorry, gotta stop whining. PLEEEEASE message me if you're interested!!!
  21. Hey guys! I'm so jealous that you get Snow Patrol as support...I'm going to the Houston show, and I've never heard of either of the acts. Ah, well. Anyway, I've got spare tickets to Houston if anyone's interested in coming to Texas! I've got three for section 111, row C, and I'm selling what I paid--$325 total, with all those goshdarned fees. Totally willing to sell a pair or singles--just message me! And HAVE FUN TUESDAY!!! Like I said, INSANELY jealous!
  22. Hey guys! I'm going to the Houston concert, and I've got spare tickets to sell or trade for Dallas! I've got three for section 111, row C, and I'll sell 'em for what I paid, $325 with all fees. Willing to sell a pair or singles or whatever. And if you've got Dallas tickets, all the better! Just message me. :)
  23. Hey guys! I'm so jealous that you get Snow Patrol as support...I'm going to the Houston show, and I've never heard of either of the acts. Ah, well. Anyway, I've got spare tickets to Houston if anyone's interested in another Texas show! I've got three for section 111, row C, and I'm selling what I paid--$325 total, with all those goshdarned fees. Totally willing to sell a pair or singles--just message me! :) And HAVE FUN WEDNESDAY!!! Like I said, INSANELY jealous!
  24. Hey everyone! I've got three tickets for the Houston show, July 22nd, for section 111, row C. $325 is what I'm asking--exactly what I paid, with all the costs. Also, totally willing to sell a pair or only one, whatever! Just message me. :)
