2011 Albums Worth Listening To
...Wait. St. Vincent in September? YESSSSS. :D Do you have any idea when her album will be out? Well, he only has two albums out right now. There's "For Emma, Forever Ago" from 2008 and "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" that was released last month. I haven't listened to a lot of the second album yet, but his first one is truly beautiful. If you like acoustic music, you'll definitely like this. "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" is quite different from the other album, as they were written under different circumstances. "For Emma, Forever Ago" was written in a log cabin in Wisconsin over a three-month period, where Justin pretty much kept to himself. "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" is more collaborative and has a lot more synths in it. People have differing opinions over which is better. I recommend starting off with "For Emma, Forever Ago," just because that's what pretty much everyone here started off with. It's hard to pick just a few songs because that album is really solid. Bon Iver also have an EP called "Blood Bank." There's a song called "Woods," which is pretty much the most awesome song created from auto-tune ever. Seriously. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

2011 Albums Worth Listening To
Nice Top 5. The next few: I only know a few of those albums, but I like how you had the ones I do know there. Ones You Liked: TKoL has grown on me, though I still think it's subpar to the majority of their work. I like Cut Copy and Smith Westerns, too, so yeah. Disappointments: YOU DIDN'T LIKE ANGLES? I love it. But then again, that's where I started my Strokes listening, so I guess I'm somewhat biased on that. I can understand why White Lies is there, because "Ritual" isn't up to the level of "To Lose My Life," but I still like it. I'll have to take a few good listens to TVotR again, because I don't rememeber a whole lot. Haven't Listened Yet: I don't know Destroyer, and I don't care for the genre Fucked Up are in, but you really should check out the others. I LOVE James Blake. Of course, some people disagree (*koff* EDDIE *koff*), but it's resonated with me a lot. "Pala" and "Torches" are also great. The Vaccines are spot on, especially for travelling purposes. I'm still kinda getting into Panda Bear, but I like "Tomboy." I haven't listened to the new Arctic Monkeys that much; I'll let you know what I think when I do.

Radiohead
Hey, Part II. Maybe I can actually become a regular part of this thread now. I felt a tad lost in the original one because I wasn't as frequent of a poster in there, and you guys post so much in here. LOL. Wow, I never thought of that. Good question. That picture scares me. :anxious: HAHAHAHA, HOW PUNNY. :| ...You didn't like HTTT at all? D: That's my favorite. </3 Oh well. More for me. :wreck: :bigcry: I...I don't even know what to say to that. At all. I just listened to the album opener. I really liked it. You should check it out. I tend to dislike/hate remixes, so I probably won't even bother.

Hurts
Given the line-up, I would've chosen Hurts, too, if I were you. Stornoway would've been my second choice.

:wreck: :bigcry: Hmmm, not my type. His eyes are too squinty. It doesn't help that I don't like his acting much, either. I never did understand why so many people thought he was attractive. I thought the same about his acting, too, until recently, when I saw "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." GREAT movie. (It had Leo, too, and he surprised me with his role as well. That movie was fantastic, and it opened my eyes a bit, too.)

What does her being indie have to do with anything? I just don't like her voice.
