I reckon it's due to the size of the stage & the setup…considering he does travel around the stage & the outer ring. I think he's also using a wireless guitar amp for a couple of his guitars.

ah, no worries! i do watch it, but i'm not a die hard of the show. i just somehow like watching medical themed shows. heh it's just that in Asia, the radio stations are pretty American-centric & since the Britpop music era has died down, we don't get much British music on the airwaves. Coldplay's bigger, so ppl do know them but the only way ppl have even heard of Snow Patrol in Southeast Asia is almost certainly cos of Chasing Cars...which they will somehow always associate with Grey's Anatomy, regardless of whether they like the show or not. :dozey:
