yup, i'm on the SP forum too. haha but i didn't know about the post by Gary! must check that out now for sure! & i'm Kimmi. nice to meet you, Jen. :D as for joining the party late & what type of fan that makes you, i may have mentioned Final Straw as the one that got me into Snow Patrol, but i should add that i didn't actually get Final Straw until last year. before that i only really knew Chasing Cars cos it was on the radio a lot & Run was from a fan made Doctor Who video on YouTube. & then 1 day i heard Take Back The City & loved it. i've no idea why to this day, but i was drawn to Final Straw over Eyes Open when i was browsing thru CDs in a shop one fine day. :P

& i salute you for being able to rock Guitar Hero & Rock Band! :cool: cos i find it harder to play a "guitar" on those games than a real one. ;) gotta love a line like "I broke into your house last night...& left a note on your bedside..." :D

heh...i'm the opposite of you then. i just only recently got a physical copy of Eyes Open & hence listened to every track on it. but i'd say Final Straw is the one that got me hooked. especially the emotional tone in Gary's singing for Run...& it's meaning is kinda personal for me too. then Final Straw led to Song For Polarbears, which lead to A Hundred Million Suns (i seem to be jumping all over the place with their discography!)...& it's a toss up between Up To Now or When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up as the next to end up in my Snow Patrol CD collection. cos the CD shop near my hall has 1 copy of When It's All Over on their shelves...'cept i'm pretty darn broke this month already. :uhoh:

Final Straw for me!!! :dance: i love Grazed Knees, How To Be Dead, Run & Chocolate SO much i desperately wanted to be able to play these songs on the acoustic guitar...i've only managed a wee bit of Grazed Knees so far. but that's only because i'm utter shiet at it in the 1st place. :dozey:

oooh!!! my timetable's finally finalised (i hope!) & i think i can pull it off!!! i do have classes on Monday, but the 1st class is not til 11.10AM...so if i can get a train/bus bright & early in the morning on Monday i can still make it. wheee!!! :D & yes, i agree wholeheartedly with you! they are amazing live...& that was when they'd just recovered from whatever swine flu-like illness that they got quarantined with. so i wanna see them play their own show & in 100% healthy mode. :cool: oooh!!! that's great!!! :dance: which show you going for? they played about half of the songs on that setlist for their set at MTV World Stage & i was already a happy camper. tho i'd go with Vlad the Impaler as their opener instead. it set a really awesome rocking mood with the crowd when they swaggered onstage to the opening beats of Vlad. [ame= ] [/ame] my sis still insists that Tom had a bit of a belly going there in Malaysia... :thinking:

+1 for that! :D i'd love it if they did the music for something like Kingdom Hearts series...or the upcoming Assassin's Creed sequel game. if only cos i absolutely LOVE these games.

i absolutely (pun intended) *know* they have Snow Patrol's cover of Champagne Supernova @ V Festival!!! so hope they play that cos it was lovely, imo. :D

i like Engines...& Lifeboats too. The Golden Floor is another one i like a lot. but i absolutely LOVE The Planets Bend Between Us the most. still. can't get tired of listening to it, esp the album version.
