It depends who your market is. If you're trying to get people to listen to a cool underground band, then I wouldn't suggest advertising on the tv/radio/etc. I know that a few NZ bands have gotten some overseas exposure from the internet.

I've always thought that. For games/movies/software too. Particularly software. They are INSANELY overpriced

That's exactly what I plan to do. I should probably not listen to any Arcade Fire for a few weeks... or I'll just be disappointed again

I kind of like this idea. Similar to street teams. You know, "if you give people these flyers I'll give you free tickets to this show" or whatever. I practically already do this on here for NZ bands. :P

:cheesy: I think I keep posting the same thing because I keep listening and trying to like the album. So..uh...sorry if I repeat myself. That Wilco comment is pretty true. But the main thing I don't like about Wilco is their more traditional rock/country/etc sound on a lot of their songs. Which is sadly what I can hear on The Suburbs.
