[2016-08-27] AT&T Stadium, DALLAS, TX
Here is the new setup. They did release some Ticketmaster Platinum seats this past weekend at $250.00 a seat, which weren't bad, but they are all gone now.

[22-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX, USA
There doesn't seem to be too much excitement for this show!! Maybe not many coldpayers live in the Dallas area? I'm trying to decide whether to go to this show or in Atlanta in July... Tough decision!

Coldplay VIP Package - Pics
Did any of you experience the VIP pre party?

[2-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA, USA
There were no standing tickets. And if you look, there were absolutely no Section 2 floor tickets sold (presumably because that is were the catwalk will be). It looks like Section 5 floor may be a good place to sit if this is the case.... I didn't jump on getting tickets yet. I may have to wait and see (due to Xmas shopping) what stub hub may have later. I really, really think they will add a show given the open dates before and after. They did play here twice during the first leg of Viva after all.... If they do, the initial demand will have died down and the seats may be better!!

With all of these new announcements, I have a feeling they will add an ATL show...

AMEX MyloXylotour VIP Package Information
It is interesting that I do not recall Coldplay ever having GA in the arenas in the U.S. They had some outdoor venue shows that had a pit during VIVA tour, which were enjoyable. I may end up waiting for something to come up on craigslist or stubhub that's "reasonable" later on. If you look constantly, sometimes ya can find good deals on good seats.

AMEX MyloXylotour VIP Package Information
What is interesting is that I tried two different cities and could only get from rows 5 - 10 w/ the AMEX VIP seating. Regular VIP seating goes on sale Saturday w/ regular tickets. Although I agree that this is not good "policy" for the band, almost every act in the USA have these. Like previously mentioned, it's ticketmaster's way of covering costs. I seriously doubt Coldplay had anything to do with this.

[2-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA, USA
The VIP package, which goes on sale to AMEX people today at 10 AM and to General public on Saturday, seems to include a seat within first 10 rows of stage, pre-party w/ free food and drinks, parking pass, t-shirt, and some other commerative items. I can't locate the price for these, but I'm sure they will be around $400 or so, as ticketmaster always ups the prices for these packages. Oh well.

It also bugs me that ticketmaster does not have the right stage setup (assuming they will use the same stage they are currently using).

There is no standing option from what I undersand. The AMEX "preferred seating" was a joke, and the regular AMEX seating was no better. As for the price... The price is actually $95.50 from Coldplay and ticketmaster added their fees to that. As such, Coldplay stayed true to not going above $100.00 for a ticket to their show..... I will try again Wednesday and see what can be found, although I'm worried that the tix will be really expensive....

[2-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA, USA
I did make it and it was amazing!!!! I have seen them 3 times now in Atlanta, despite my 6 hour road trip there, and have to say I have always been impressed!! As a side note, does anyone have any idea what the AMEX VIP packages on Wednesday are for?

Multiple Shows / City?
I could see either New Orleans or Orlando between Houston 6/25 and Tampa 6/28

[2-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA, USA
I really really want to go to this show. They always do a little something different/special in Atlanta that strays away from their "normal" setlist. Will be tough to ask for Monday and Tuesday off to go though.... hmmm :\

2012 tour date rumours (please post dates for ALL countries in here)
I think the NBA and arenas in the U.S. are slowly getting somewhere. I hate to keep refrencing the RHCP tour, but they just released OK city and LA dates in NBA arenas. Perhaps Coldplay wants to release the entire US schedule upon arena confirmation dates, instead of just rolling a few cities out at a time like the peppers......

2012 tour date rumours (please post dates for ALL countries in here)
U.S. Info I have been told by a New Orleans Hornets officials (local NBA team) that they are having schduling problems with possible tours this spring/summer. The NBA lockout just ended; however, they are going to change the schedule of many of the teams and the arenas do not now what that will be. This is largely hindering the schedule of Red Hot Chili Pepper dates, which just announced a 6 city start to their tour, but could not announce additional dates. I know that the everyone thinks this will be a stadium tour, but if they are looking for arenas at all in the U.S., this may be a HUGE factor as to why a tour has not been announced. I love Coldplay to death, but I just don't know if they can fill up stadiums in smaller U.S. cities during a world tour....

Coldplay on Howard Stern - 9 November 2011 8.00am EST
Will this interview be on multimedia somewhere to listen?

2012 tour date rumours (please post dates for ALL countries in here)
They have constantly said that they did not want to cross the $100.00 threshold for face value of their tickets. In a recent interview, and I can't remember which one, it was stated that they were going to keep this standard at least through the MX era. Regardless of where they play, stadiums or arenas, I think this will hold true. Now if they have some special zone (a la Red Zone in U2) then that will probably be different.

[24-Sept-2011] Coldplay @ Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival
Time to get pumped! I do not think there will be a live stream tonight. Hopefully they won't be too tired after flying in from the Vegas show last night!

Was there ever a decision on a meet-up place or time!?

[24-Sept-2011] Coldplay @ Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival
The suspense is killing me!! I've seen them up front several times, and I think I may just enjoy this one from the back. Plus, I ended up with regular VIP tickets, which means all the "stuff" that comes with it is going to be away from the stage. Greeneyes.... did you go to the Charlotte show a couple years back? Or was it the outdoor Atlanta show? (Never mind, I should have just checked your signature and matched it with mine!!)
