i did some mental math and in 4 years... when i turn 36 i will officially have loved coldplay for half my life and in january of 2011... I will have loved them for 9 years <3

Not really Ive pretty much excepted how hard it is to find other people who adore Coldplay and the Weepies as much as I do And Coldplay is something so special to me... I ......dont want to share it, i want to hide it away and keep it safe from stupid people who cannot see its beauty. For NINE years, it's been a place where I can escape to, I put on my headphones and I can seal myself off from everything around me, no matter where I am and nothing else exists I would never want to let anyone invade that... unless I knew they felt the same way about the band that i do, and thats something that seems exclusive to people on this forum I remeber once my mother picked up my ipod and liked green eyes and Viva La Vida and then she downloaded it onto hers I despised it so much because they had always been an escape from her for me and it felt like such an invasion I went and deleted all their songs off her ipod. she never noticed.

i read Coldplay; Look at the Stars by Phil O'Brian and he said they wrote it about 9/11.... I always thought it may have been influenced by Chris' views on poverty as well...
