I just got the Rv-5, and it's as close as you'll come to getting Jonnys effect, it sounds identical to the studio & live versions depending on the settings of the pedal. I would definitely reccomend it. The modulation effect is probably what Jonny uses to play life in technicolor and lovers in japan. It's awesome. I'll try to make a video, but the camera I have is bad quality for sound.

according to this site, Jonny ditched the RV-3 for an RV-5 and now that I'm looking at pics of his setup it looks as if it's true! http://www.guitar-rigs.com/artists/b/buckland-jonny.html EDIT: Yeah that's definitely any RV-5, because in the pictures on the site, his RV3 has two inpute and outputs and the RV-3 only has one input and output.

This isn'y my video, but this video helped me make the decision to buy a boss RV-5, the modulation mode cranked sounds A LOT like the effect Jonny uses, at least it does in this video.
