  1. ^^ Well, that just made me even more excited for this Saturday. :awesome: I'm pretty excited to meet the new companion too.
  2. First season of Modern Family. :awesome:

  4. Thanks, Christina. :nice: I definitely won't forget that crowd and the insanity. Michael, I'd say I was about fifteen people away from the center divide. Every time Matt walked a little further down the stage from the mic, he was pretty much right in front of me. I tried to see if I could recognize you while coming back from a restroom trip, but I didn't want to be a creeper and stare at every person at the barrier. That's awesome that your friend got Chris' harmonica! The girl next to my friend got Matt's guitar pick from a security guard. :bomb:
  5. I caught up with the last few pages of this thread and I want to hug you guys. My body is so sore, I'm quite dehydrated, and my head feels funny. But my friend and I still had such an amazing time. We got barrier on Matt's side (which I still can't believe) and we stayed put the entire day. As Michael already said, that crowd was just ridiculous. The pushing started when Arctic Monkeys began, and it only got worse from there. The girl next to us during Muse just went absolutely crazy and unintentionally started shoving my friend off from barrier. Right, the band. So since that was my first Muse gig, this review might be a bit exaggerated. I thought the boys were so incredible, and Matt seemed like he was having a pretty great time. During their riffing/jamming sections, it finally hit me on how talented and amazing the boys are as a live band. I'm so ridiculously happy that they played Butterflies & Hurricanes. Every time Matt walked to the side of the stage and stood in front of us, I just reached my arm out and screamed. Tom walked past us while they were setting up Muse's gear. :wacky: The one thing that really sucked (besides being squashed by the crowd) was that when Citizen Erased started, two guys wanted to get out of the crowd, and I was right in front of them. So I had to duck down and wait for the security guard to hoist them out. When the CE riff started again, another guy wanted to get out of the crowd, and I had to duck again. Very annoying. :shifty: Still, it was fantastic to actually hear CE. So, um, yeah. That's my review. I just want to go back and relive it. :bigcry:
  6. Yep, I am! It's my first ever music festival.
  7. It still doesn't feel real that I'm going to Outside Lands, and that it's just going to be another lazy weekend for me. :freak:
  8. That one about the (rarities on the) setlist is so true.
  9. Goodness, Dominic. He looks so adorkable. ETA: Aw, that pic was from Matt's Twitter. I approve his caption.
  10. Opener: either Don't Panic or Life in Technicolor Closer: Amsterdam
  11. Lost? - 102 Goodbye and Goodnight (demo) - 86 I just really, really like it. :blank: Sleeping Sun - 85 Brothers & Sisters - 82 Viva la Vida (acoustic / stripped session) - 79 The Goldrush - 75 Swallowed in the Sea - 74 Shiver - 73 God Put a Smile upon Your Face - 73 Amsterdam - 71
  12. Chris is really belting those high notes. :stunned:
  13. Someone earlier noticed it. It's lyrics from Moving to Mars, but it could also be lyrics for a new song!
  14. I want to give the boys cookies for bringing back Life Is for Living to the setlist.
  15. Haha, I know! He's really a softie on the inside.
  16. He did! At the end of Yellow and GPASUYF. Actually, I think he threw the second guitar at the end of GPASUYF. So that's three?
  17. Whew, thank goodness for roadies! EDIT: ^ You're welcome, bluexylophone!
  18. Love how the crowd sang along for the last lines of Violet Hill. :awesome:
  19. 1. MX/Hurts Like Heaven 2. Yellow 3. In My Place 4. Major Minus 5. Lost! 6. The Scientist 7. Shiver Now, Violet Hill. Someone please correct me if that's the wrong setlist.
  20. I can't wait to see this band live and sing along. :wacky:
  21. Agh, I don't want to hear about people stuffing tubes in their noses. Where's Coldplay? :bigcry:
  22. If you hover your cursor over the screen/video, a box should pop up that allows you to watch it full-screen.
