  1. Jumping into the lil' Muse discussion, but . . . someone else besides me loves I Belong to You? :awesome: To me, it seems like a lot of Musers hate it, which I guess is understandable, but I adore the song.
  2. Oh, wait! He and the rest of the boys were on The Simpsons too, but only Chris had speaking lines. Yep . . .
  3. WAIT WHAT He played "himself" () on Extras. As for other TV shows, I'm not sure.
  4. She's Dom's ex-girlfriend. I think her name is Jessica. Oh, and I like Dom. A lot. That adorable and super awesome drummer.
  5. That sounds like a pretty cool project! :) Try this link: http://www.4shared.com/dir/8921731/93e474f9/Coldplay_Sheet_Music.html It has the entire Viva la Vida songbook in pdf format. You can also download Death and All His Friends by itself. I hope that's what you're looking for!
  6. MK Ultra is my current ringtone! The opening guitar riff. I used Coldplay's Talk (the guitar solo-ish/interlude part) as a ringtone too. Can't say I really like the ringtones that my phone came with.
  7. I've been obsessed with Florence + the Machine the past few months. This song gives me shivers, especially during the last two minutes or so. [ame= ] [/ame]

Ah, that's right! Thanks, Gena! :D We all couldn't help noticing that Chris has gotten all buff, hence the "tan beastly man-arms" Gena was talking about. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. :P

Let's see . . . Chris was invited to do a mini performance at Apple's Keynote presentation in San Francisco three days ago. Along with playing Yellow and Viva la Vida, he also performed a full version of Wedding Bells, which was a real treat. He played these songs with just a piano. Ping is sort of this new music-sharing thing that Apple launched three days ago where music artists can have their own profile and fans can "follow" them. Coldplay's profile has some short messages, a video (of Guy and Chris playing a new, lovely melody on a glockenspiel), and a bunch of pictures (many of which can be found on Roadie #42's blogs). Coldplay.com got a new makeover. The two new features are the Live Transmission (where fans can upload pictures and videos they took of the Viva la Vida tour gigs) and a Hypnofeed. I don't really know what the Hypnofeed is for, but it has some very interesting links. And there you have it! Correct me if I'm wrong or left out anything, anyone. :nice:
  10. :awesome: I'm glad those Tennant gifs brought a smile to your face! :nice: I'd spam with tons more Tennant/Doctor Who gifs . . . if I could find 'em. This one is really pretty.
  11. Heheh, Barrowman. :P DAVID TENNANT. :wacky:
  12. GIFS? :cheesy: :wacky: :wacky: :wacky:
  13. I agree; we need that album now! I was walking around San Francisco today and thought, "Oh, it would be so awesome if I bumped into Chris" since he played there yesterday. Then I laughed at myself because my chances at that were highly unlikely and I had a feeling he left San Francisco hours ago and was probably back in London or somewhere. Still, a girl/fan/fangirl can dream.
  14. I'm not sure how long they've had it, but I'm guessing at least for a month before the official launch. Coldplay's first update was August 29th . . . or 30th.
  15. I agree. It would be a lovely intro. All of this is just making me even more excited for LP5. :awesome:
  16. No, they aren't. I recognize some of the pictures from the latest Roadie #42 blogs, but a few of them look new. There are even a bunch of pictures of the Beehive/studio itself. I really like the melody that Guy and Chris are playing! It's quite pretty.
  17. Thank you so much for posting these, coldplayisawesome! iTunes 10 is taking a really long time to download for me. Ugh.
  18. ^ There are videos in the first post of this thread. Scroll down a bit, and you'll find 'em. :) http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72250
  19. ^ Thanks, Amy! :nice: Chris' quotes are really amusing. Wedding Bells was really nice to listen to . . . even though Chris sounded a bit off. :anxious: EDIT: And I can't believe he was in San Francisco. So close!
  20. Google Alerts. :surprised: I should try that! Thanks for uploading the pictures and videos, guys! Chris looks great. Sadly, I have to get off the computer now. The videos/audio/whatnot had better still be here when I get back, or else I think I'll cry.
  21. Why didn't I sign into Coldplaying earlier?! :disappointed:
  22. I would love to see their reactions!
  23. I thought it was pretty good. For me, it was really interesting to read about what roadies have to deal with and how much work it takes to set up for gigs. There were plenty of great little anecdotes about the band too. Like others have said, don't expect it to be a book about Coldplay. It's Matt McGinn's story, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. :) If you want a more proper review, you can read Mimixxx's review here: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4177821&postcount=400 There are more fan reviews here and onward: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53217&page=36
