  1. I must have been three or four years old. My mom was feeding me an avocado. In between each spoonful of avocado, I would run/waddle across the kitchen and back.
  2. Nah, not pessimistic. It's realistic. Judging from just the song titles, I do like "If I Ever Fall in Love Again" for no good reason.
  3. Really? My random Coldplay thought: I need to get me some Coldplay karma.
  4. On one YouTube video of Beyoncé and Chris' "Halo" performance, there were many comments asking, "Is that Dr. House on the piano?" :P Yeah, have they?
  5. ^ Whoa! That's great!
  6. Yeah, there haven't been any audio leaks of the majority of the songs. We don't even know if any demos were recorded. The song titles were just taken from the South Bank Show (right?) when we saw them written on the wall or whiteboard in Coldplay's studio. Anyhoo, I'd love to hear "Famous Old Painters". It has a horn section. That's just pretty awesome. ETA: I'd be interested in a studio version. :wideeyed:
  7. These are such "Chris-like" answers; pretty hilarious AND inspiring. :nice: Thank you so much for scanning and uploading the interview!
  8. Cartwheelin' Chris. :nice: Or whatever gymnastics move he's doing.
  9. Tegucigalpa. I think. Laos?
  10. ^ :( Those people kinda suck.
  11. March 30, 2010 - submitted by Cristina, Mexico Q. Dear Oracle, when Coldplay came to Guadalajara I was the first in line waiting for the gate to be opened in order to be the closest to the stage. I waited in line since 4pm from the previous day of the concert just so I could see Chris really really close, other people came to join me during the night and we camped outside the stadium. Of course it was totally worth it and was so much fun! My question is did the band know there were people already waiting outside the stadium since the night before? Haha luv u, thanks a lot! The Oracle replies: Wow! I was telling everyone how people had been at most venues from 5 a.m but I had no idea that die-hard fans like yourself were there overnight! That's pretty incredible. Thumbs up to you guys for that. March 30, 2010 - submitted by Simon, United Kingdom Q. Have any of the band had the pleasure of meeting the legend that is Paul McCartney? The Oracle replies: Yeah apart from the fact that Coldplay were onstage shortly after Paul at Live 8, they have met a few times. March 30, 2010 - submitted by Isabell, United States of America Q. El Caro! I hope you are well! I was looking though some of the older news posts, and I came across the post from way back in April 1 2009, which talks about the band recording in zero gravity (too cool)! I just remembered that post when I saw it today. My question is, have they done it yet? The Oracle replies: Wow as we almost swing past 12 months since that news post it seems weird to report so long after that the band were never intending to record in zero gravity as the date might suggest; it was an April Fool's prank!
  12. Here's one. Or two. Is there one in particular you're looking for? EDIT: Aaaand it looks like Marisa beat me to it. :disappointed:
  13. Flight of the Conchords. :D They're pretty awesome.
  14. Flight of the Conchords - The Prince of Parties

    I hate tripe too!
  17. I ate a live mealworm so that my teacher would give me a sugar cookie. I didn't want to taste it, so I just swallowed it whole. Yeah . . . :blank:
  18. Flight of the Conchords - Inner City Pressure :awesome:
  19. Yep, I glance into my cup before pouring my drink in. It sucks when a fly ends up diving into my mug after I pour the stuff in, though.
  20. I need to find me one too. A local Coldplayer, that is.
  21. Aw, thanks! :nice: Gah, that would've been so fantastic, attending my first - OUR first! - Coldplay concert with a fellow Coldplayer. :( Such good seats too. None of my friends are Coldplay fans.
  22. That's true. That's great to hear that you had an amazing and memorable time at the concert! No, I didn't go since tickets had already sold out. :( They were playing 40 minutes away from my house! I was so bummed out that day. I still haven't seen them live. Orange County looks really gorgeous! I like the beaches. :D
  23. Cecilio? That's so cool; I never actually thought about changing the last letter of my name to make it a guy's name. :awesome: Was the Coldplay concert you two attended held last July (the one at the Shoreline Amphitheater)? I'm in the Bay Area.

If they taste too strong, I have to spit 'em out. Otherwise, I do like popping one or two into my mouth.
