  1. Haha, really? That's our Chris. :P
  2. Those are fantastic photos, ShineLikeStars (Susanne?)! Thanks for uploading 'em. And I like your bunny-nose-wiggle avatar. :D Very cute.
  3. GAH, THAT'S ADORABLE! :wacky: EDIT: And a very happy birthday to Moses. :nice:
  4. Thank you so much for scanning and uploading the interview, Mich!
  5. I'm not sure if there's a way to do that without the URL. (Is there?) Maybe you can try uploading the pictures to tinypic.com, which is a quick way to upload pics and get the URLs? :) The crown's a nice touch. It was so cute when Chris placed it on Guy's head. :nice:
  6. April 8, 2010 - submitted by Gavin, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle, Please settle this argument between my friend and I. I argue that for a song (with lyrics) to be good, it must have good musical qualities as well as good lyrics. Even for acapella the lyrics still involve a melody, which is definitely a musical quality. He thinks that if you have amazing lyrics, it doesn't matter what type of music or melody you have with it. Whether or not you put more importance on lyrics or instrumental/melody, it can't be good song with just lyrics, or else it's just poetry. Right? The Oracle replies: Lyrics without the existence of music aren't lyrics but (as you said) poetry in my opinion. There are however some amazing lyrics of songs that I don't necessarily think have a great melody and vice versa. Of course the perfect match is to get both spot on. My subjective list of examples is endless but I reckon Tears of a Clown (Smokey Robinson) is one of my favourites; partly because not only is it musically brilliant but the melancholy words with that happy melody is a stroke of genius juxtaposition! April 8, 2010 - submitted by Stephanie, Colombia Q. Dear Oracle, I've been wondering this for a while now... Did any of the guys finished their college careers... as an engineer student, I'd love to know if I can call Guy colleague!!! :D Many many many hugs and kisses from Colombia. Thanks for the best concert ever!!! The Oracle replies: The band's career was just taking off as they were finishing their studies; Guy had already decided to discontinue but Chris, Jonny & Will all completed - and passed - their finals. April 8, 2010 - submitted by Serena, Canada Q. Hey most-smarticle-Oracle! Plz help me! I watch the show SNL every Saturday,(do you?)and I remember the time Coldplay was the musical guest.Oct. 25, 2008 to be exact! I thought they played wonderfully but I couldn't figure out one of the songs they played at the end credits... It puzzles me from that day on... Please if you can list all the songs they played that night! (In order preferably). Thank you so much! :D Viva La Coldplay! The Oracle replies: Their first was Viva la Vida followed by Lost! The 3rd song was Yellow and the song that's puzzling you is Lovers in Japan which was the closing credit track and therefore cut as soon as it got started!
  7. I'm up for a more acoustic sound. I adored VLVODAAHF (perhaps a bit too much), but I do miss the raw-ness and more stripped down sound. EDIT: And yeah, you might want to change the thread title. :)
  8. I can't help it. :P
  9. It's boring here too. Can't get away from it. :nice: Haha, it's kinda cute how the boys wear each other's clothes. And then I start getting ideas . . . :uhoh:
  10. I wanna be in your school so I can have another break. It's nice to hear you're doing well! And sitting around is one of the best things to do. :D Are Chris and Guy sharing shirts?
  11. I was always wondering where your sig came from.
  12. Diamond is more correct than a Christmas tree, that's for sure. I've been doing pretty well. Thanks for asking! Spring break ended a little more than a week ago, so I'm back in school. :dozey: And how have you been? :nice:
  13. I'm getting too confused with all these Anti-Cults and Anti-Anti-Cults. Which one am I supposed to join? :bigcry:
  14. AMY! Hiya. :nice: I need to watch that interview again and figure out what the heck he's drawing/outlining. I keep thinking of a Christmas tree.
  15. I've never joined a cult before. :anxious:
  16. Haven't lurked or posted here in a while. GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
  17. I'm still very, very bummed out that the video was scrapped. Or maybe they did film some footage and it's now stored away? :wideeyed: I also liked Lovers in Japan video! It's a pretty great picker-upper. I don't really know how to describe it, but the video was colorful and joyful. :nice: I love some of the little moments in the video (e.g., the boys bobbing their heads while watching the TV).
  18. It's so adorable; I can't help going "AAAAWWWW" every time I see it. That face expression makes me laugh every time. I don't know why.
  19. KIIIIIIIIITTTYYYYY! :wacky: Oh, and Chris too. :P
  20. It was such a pretty shirt too! Oh well. Here's a happy-go-lucky Chris.
  21. I saw a shirt very similar to the one Chris is wearing in this pic, but my mom wouldn't let me buy it.
  22. ^ I like that pic! I haven't seen it before.
  23. Try this! :D http://www.4shared.com/file/64014905/ae63de06/11-_For_You.html
