  1. KEANE "Hopes and Fears" .. I though this one could be very good but I never ever thought that it would be THAT great. ESKOBAR "A thousand last Chances" ... great Scandinavian Pop U2 "How to dismantle an atomic bomb" ... also over my expectectations. I didn't think that they would be that good again :D
  2. U2 "Mircaled Drug" ... man, it's so uplifting. "The Songs are in your eyes ... I see them when you smile" :) Great
  3. For me it's the best U2 Album since "Achtung Baby"... can't believe that they still mange it to sound so great. Great rock hymnes... I mean that's what U2 was always about... Songs like "Miracled Drug" or "Yahweh" are the reasons why I love U2. And "Sometimes you can't make it" is so sad... and so beautiful. U2 manged to play with their cliché... of course they are a typical stadium rock hymn band... but they are better then any other act in this disciplin. I MUST see them live next year... otherwise I can't look in the mirror anymore :D 5 stars out of 5
  4. Great german band named VIRGINIA JETZT! ... they sound a bit like Coldplay, just in German language :)
  5. franz ferdinand ... this ffffffffffire :D
  6. It's so fantastic... It's great that U2 learned again that they can make ass kickin' rock songs... I love the idea, that they come back to their early sound. It's one of the best rock songs this year :)
  7. U2 "Vertigo" ... yeah- they are fucking back :)
  8. Ariel kill Him - "Alpha is Down" 8/10 ... very moody and melancholic
  9. - Every "Sigur Rós" Album... - Kings of Convenience "Riot on en empty Street" - Röyksoop "Melody A.M." - Blank & Jones "Relax"
  10. I only got "Morning Glory"... so that choice is easy for me :D
  11. That's cool... U2 sound like back in the early 80s... good that they still can kick ass :)
  12. "Not today, not tomorrow" or "Seashell Eyes" are great songs... check them out :D
  13. @ pharynx: Just wanted to ask If anyone else in the world knows that band, cause it's great music... but difficult to find in CD shops. So it's just a tip, my friend, like everyone here starts postings with Bandnames to find out If somebody else likes the band  So please... listen to them when you find a CD... you'll like it. Thanx
  14. Anyone heard of them... some great stuff from skandinavia... really really good records... "In the Pyramid" and "Alpha is Down". It's hard to get them when you don't live in skandinavia, but they are great. I saw them live this year in a small club in Dresden. It's very melancholic but also with a lot of Power... Anyone else know them?
  15. Funny ... "Mein Teil" only went on #2 here in Germany ... :D
  16. Melody A.M is really good... like that record :)
  17. o.k. ... time for an update... - Snow Patrol - Ariel Kill Him - Moneybrother - Keane - The Prodigy

  19. Only know "Somebody told me" ... but that song kicks ass :D
  20. I heard a song from their latest album... "Come home billy bird" ... really good track :)
  21. O.M.D.
  22. "Ariel kill him" "Wir sind Helden" "Depeche Mode" "Moneybrother"
  23. "Franz Ferdinand" and "Jet" got awards ... I really liked that :) And the Jay-Z Video for "99 Problems" is absolutely great... so the awards for that one are okay. :)
