  1. Mayte. LIJ and VLV aren't backing tracks, they play a bar or two and It's repeated using a delay system. But, the other strings on VLV are backing tracks.
  2. One of my friends claims he saw Jonny... He has a stall at a farmer's market, and was serving customers, then, along came Jonny (with a hat and shades so nobody would recognise him). My friend obviously knew who he was, but he didn't say, OMG it's Jonny from Coldplay. He started singing the hardest part under his breath. Jonny smiled at him. That's what he said, I don't know wether to believe him or not... But All i can say is, I WISH I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!
  3. Really? How did you know it was his?
  4. That's really impressive, i like how you've blended the electric part and the acoustic. Magic.
  5. The Scientist absolutely rocks!!! But, when I was with my girlfriend, we had the radio on, and a song called "Clocks" came on, I actally stopped making out with her to listen to it!!!
  6. It's just two chords in the verse: Eb first then Gm. Simple! I can't really play the chorus, but I play: Ab5 then Bb. On the fourth time round the verse, you play an F instead of a G on the left hand. If I didn't help, look it up on YouTube! This is the same as the album version, same key, he just f***s up the rhythm at the begining (like he does with a lot of songs).
  7. Yeah, that works for me!
  8. It's quite a good cover you've got there my friend! When you started, I thought you were tuning your guitar (were you?) lol.
  9. That works, thanks. But, I meant the dulcimer from the actual song. I guess that'll be incredibly hard to do, so I'll work with this one. Thanks anyway!:)
  10. I bet Coldplay'd do it a million times better!
  11. it is very underrated, but I think it's quite cheezy though...:o
  12. Although, I've got a piece of sheet music which says it's 6/8, 76 bpm, and in Eflat minor. I dunno, go with whatever you like!
  13. Parachutes: Everything's Not Lost A Rush Of Blood To The Head: Warning Sign X&Y: Swallowed In The Sea Viva La Vida: 42
  14. Hey All. I was just listening to it and I thought... "Damn, I'd love to cover it!" But then I thought... "How on earth will I do this?" So, I was wondering, how will I go about covering this great song? I know that there's a lot of synths involved (and a time sig change at the start of the choorus). But, is there anything else I should know? Is there guitar playing? (If so, what effects are being used?) Bass tabs anybody? And, what's that clicky thing I can hear with the drums? I can hear it most at the very end... Thanks if anyone actualy bothers to try to find out these things!
  15. Wow, this is pretty cool! but, where are the AROBTTH sheets?
  16. Wow! Oh my, that really works! I wore my old shirt that doesn't fit me and it's completely covered in paint! Thanks, that works.
  17. Wow, I'll be sure to download that!:D
  18. 1.Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends 2.A Rush Of Blood To the Head 3.Parachutes 4.X&Y
  19. Yeah, I might try that, It's the splash at the end of the letters I just can't seem to get, It's actualy quite hard!
  20. They're all pretty epic if you ask me!
  21. being at a concert with them or owning chris's acoustic for life
  22. being at a concert with them vs recording an album with them :D
  23. Hey, thanks for all that help. I have a place which I can hire out (5 gbp per hour). It's actualy quite hard to find a bassist, not many people in my school play it. I guess if someone plays drums, they'd be fairly good at bass? Anyways, I'll just keep looking!
