LP5 LEAK???
I wasn't a member of the boards when VLVODAAHF leaked, but I did manage to come across a leak and I stayed strong because I didn't want to be spoiled and didn't listen to it until it was released and I soon after bought a copy. I don't think I'd be able to restrain myself next time.

Doctor Who ???......
This cliffhanger killed me at the end of this episode, but I liked this episode a whole lot better than the last one. The angels were so terrifying, but they've always been one of my favorite "villians" on Doctor Who since I first saw them and when the angel was coming out of the tv, I was freaking out. The only thing is that I don't know I feel about there being someone (that is not the face of boe) knowing everything and that girl... I forgot her name, the one from silence in the library... is treading in that territory. But this series is so enjoyable thus far. :)

Do you like where you live?
It's not that I don't like living here, I just don't really want to live here anymore. I should be moving by the end of this year though. Hopefully.

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Yeah, I always get tongue-tied just trying to say their name sometimes. I don't know why, though, but a lot of small bands I get into always turn out to be from Arizona. I really liked your mix! Some songs more than others, obviously, but for the most part I really enjoyed it! I looked up Victor Jara because his song was so beautiful and I felt kind of embarrassed that I hadn't heard of him before. And now that I had read about what had happened to him, that song became even more powerful and sad and beautiful. I'm going to be looking up a lot of these other bands too. :)

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Ah, I really like this band! Like I know you were talking about the vocals being crap, but I honestly kind of find them both interested. Like how they work off of each other and I don't know; but yeah, most of the time the instruments are my favorite part of this band. I was also thinking about using Shake in my mix, but decided against it last minute. I might have used this band in my last mix, though. I don't remember. I'm going to download your mix, cause I haven't heard of a lot of the bands on there so this will be interesting.

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Again, thank you for making this mix! For the most part, I did enjoy a lot of the songs and I'm for sure going to check out some of the artists you suggested. In fact, a lot of the artists, I've heard of but never actually took the initiative or time to look them up so it's nice to have something to push me into doing that. (ie; I've never actually listened to Kings of Leon or Ben Folds or even Keane so...) I don't know if it makes me a bad fan of Coldplay, but I knew Guy had a side project, but I never knew it was Apparatjik (whom I've heard of, but never looked up or listened to their music.) And out of what I had heard of the Foo Fighters, I knew I never really liked them. But I always thought I was maybe just being too biased, but now I know that I just can't get into them. Sorry. :( Guess it's just not meant to be.

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Also, I meant to type DEAR and the Headlights, not DEAD... And, yeah. I couldn't resist putting Jamie T in there, I've kind of been obsessed with his music lately and Brand New Bass Guitar seemed like the perfect song to put on there. I also wanted to put this French singer I really love, but I don't actually own any of her music. :( If you want to know any more about any of those artists, just tell me - PM me or whatever and I'll be happy to share. :) Again, I'm glad you liked the mix! EDIT: alright, here's my review. Okay, first of all, whoever made this mix left some of the artists names on the track information so I tried not to pay attention as I deleted them, but I did end up seeing that one was the foo fighters, another was Mika (which I would have recognized anyway), and I recognized another name, but I didn’t remember what band is was by the time I got around to listening to the mix. But everything was out of order when I deleted the names, so I couldn’t even remember what number belonged to what artist. So, yeah… 1. I like this first track. It’s a bit "trippy," very airy. The instruments build up from this small sound, and then releases into this light, airy mix of instruments. Then the vocals come in half way into the song. I can't really understand them, but the vocals are very happy sounding, going with the light instruments. The song then fades out to just vocals at the end and I hear something about “sunshine” and “the world collapsing” and that's exactly how the song feels. 2. Oh, this is really interesting! The music has a bit of a spooky sound to it, don't know how to properly describe it. I didn’t dig the vocals as much at first, but they grew on me as the song progressed, but I really like the instruments and I don’t know if those are backing vocals are just weird noises made through instruments, but it’s really cool. The ending is really cool. It’s like they're 'hooting' at each other or something. It’s cute. 3. It’s very pop/rock or something along that genre, I’m very bad at identifying genres. It’s a fun, catchy, tune with some nice guitar going on, but I'm not really getting into this song that much. It's a nice, cute, song, though. I started cracking up when the singer sang, "gone like frank sinatra, like elvis and his mom, like al pachino's cash(?)" That’s adorable! I'm actually getting into this song, toward the end. It’s a nice, fun, cute, tune.. 4. This song starts off slow. Drums, then guitar. And the instruments build as the song progresses.. I hear an accent in that voice, hehe. I like the vocals. It’s a nice, slow, song. Very mellow. 5. I knew a few seconds into this song that this is Summer's Gone by Placebo. I love Placebo, though! I already have this song, but it's awesome that you put it on the mix! Cause you can never go wrong with Placebo when it comes to me. 6. The song begins with a female singing in a foreign language. Her voice is nice, reminds me of a 90s pop singer. Then a male voice starts singing (in English) and he sounds like a pop singer from the early 70s/late 60s. It’s a cool contrast. I really love the male vocals, though. It's soothing. The music has this Spanish sound to it, reminds me of the desert and the beach all in one. 7. This song starts off with guitars and then very strong vocals just pound out. I like the vocals, they kind of remind me of the gaslight anthem. The song has that kind of style. Like driving out on an old highway, meeting old friends, making new ones and falling in love. I don't know if any of that makes sense, but yeah. This song has a real "feel good" spirit to it. This is my favorite track so far! 8. Violin! And then guitar. And then very light vocals that contrasts the heavy, dragging, instruments. The main, male, vocals have a bit of this "country" tinge to it. I didn’t really like the vocals at first, but when I listened to the song the second time, I didn’t mind them as much. I like the piano, very refreshing. I'm kind of getting annoying with the amount of "do do do do do's" going on in the background after a while. It’s an okay song, but I didn’t really get that much into it. 9. Retro. Then drums kick in and the guitars roar in the back. I like the vocals, they have this sort of strain to them. It's very nice. The song has this dark feeling to it. The song is slow, kind of repetitive, but not boring at all. The guitars in the instrumental break at the end are really cool. 10. I don't really like this track that much. The guitar does nothing for me. The vocals start to sound real cool toward the middle of the song, like really dreamy. But in the beginning they were a bit boring. 11. Oh, this is different! This song has this circus sound to it. The vocals are weird, but I like it. The song is very charming. It’s like the music just doesn't fit, but it does at the same time. This has a theatrical sound to it, which being a thespian, I totally appreciate. It’s like a cabaret circus, haha. And are those trumpets? I love trumpets like there's no tomorrow. 12. This song has a country sound to it. Not really digging it that much. It's a bit boring. 13. Ahaha. Mika! I know this song right off the bat, it's I See You by Mika. Not my favorite song off the new album, but I love me some Mika. 14. This song starts off with drum, then mellow male vocals. It’s a slow, sad song. Then is starts to speed up a bit, but still a bit slow. I like the vocals, they’re comforting. A very dreamy song, real mellow. Nice way to end the mix. After this song, I just sat there for a minute, just taking in the song. Overall, this was a nice mix! I liked the majority of the songs on there and really loved number 7! I’m really interested in seeing the tracklist for this, that’s for sure. Thank you so much, to whoever made it. :)

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
That's mine! I'm glad you liked it. I tried to put a little variety in there while not straining away from a cohesive mix all at the same time. Are we allowed to post the tracklist or do I have to wait or something?

sex offender?
One of the teachers at my school was caught having an affair with a student last year. Since she was 18 at the time, he only lost his job (and had a wife, so I figure he'd lost her too). I think they started the affair when she was still underage, though. They probably couldn't just prove it or do anything about it or something by the time they got caught.

what´s the name of your pet?
Yeah. ahaha. I haven't had a dog since I was a little girl, so when I got one, I just had to name him after Oscar Wilde.

We just hung around downtown. Went to the capital, went out to eat, walked around (in in groncho glasses. :P), and I wanted to go see this band, but my friends decided that they would rather see a movie so we did that instead. When we came back home, we were debating on seeing the sun rise in Corpus, but decided not to in the end. :( Your hair is so pretty. :)
