Darin's is pretty okay. It's not bad on its own, but it doesn't fit the lyrics or capture the mood of the original, which was what I like best about VLV. If Darin had written the melody himself and paired it with sappy lyrics, it'd be a catchy pop song! :smug:

Maaaaaan. I missed the VLV tour in my area, but I probably could've made it to this if it'd been announced sooner. Haha, oh well. I'll catch him next time he's around :wacky:

Er... present? :wacky: I'd heard several of their songs (mostly the hits) before, but it was VLV that got me hooked. Don't get me wrong, I love their other stuff, too; I own all four albums. Kinda wish I'd gotten into the band sooner! I was like, 10 when Parachutes came out, and I've only really started paying attention to specific bands recently. I plan on sticking around to see what else they come up with.

I like having hard copies of the albums, but I get the singles from iTunes. (Multimedia's good for things you really can't find otherwise, though.) 'Cause supporting the guys is cool. And when you support them, you indirectly help the charities they support :P /PSA

I really really love the live version of Viva la Vida on LeftRightLeftRightLeft, but it always bugs me that the audience's ohhh-ohh-ohhh's at the end are out of synch with the band's xD Kinda bummed I didn't find out about the show in Mass. earlier, I probably could've gone :v And I'm not sure when my next chance to see 'em will be... awww.

With ceolsige on this one... Pffft, I'm a recent convert :b I think I first heard them on the radio when I was in middle school and just thought of Coldplay as "yeah, that popular band," but it wasn't till I'd heard Viva la Vida for like, the fifth time when I fell totally in love with it. Then I re-listened to their other stuff and found out what I'd been missing! I actually just got the tour pack yesterday so I haven't listened to the albums enough to pick a favorite... but I really like AROBTTH and VLVODAAHF.
