  1. Sorry but did someone record this gig yesterday? Read that someone wanted to do it here?!
  2. I hope Coldplay really plays important songs... not just old stuff and some B-sides...
  3. 32 Minutes to go... I hope they´ll play some great LP5 songs... nice quality though in those streams.
  4. So this Cartoon Heart was just a funny opener and no selfwritten Coldplay song for LP5?!
  5. Well as I said. Its a nice song on its own way but its also a kick into the nuts of real Coldplay fans ;)
  6. One question: Is it really really official, that EtiaW is an headlining LP5 song? Or even a LP5 song? Because after hours of hearing it, I can say: Okay, I like this song. Its says something special and you see the "freedom" that Chris Martin meant. But still I hope that LP5 won´t be such a mainstream album. Also: I would guess it´s just a festival song because it rocks on stage and they played it as a last song on "rock im park". AND there are some things covered from other songs ( the beginning for example ): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QMKr_EoSWI]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QMKr_EoSWI[/ame] So I can´t believe Coldplay presents a headlining first single of their highly anticipated album, that is just covered and such a pop song. Another question: Those new songs which will be played at rock am ring today, do you think they will all be album songs?! Thanks guys and girls ;)
  7. Okay, I have to say something now. Sorry for my English, though. First of all to all those "stop hating Coldplay for not liking one song" - guys: Its not because we don´t like one song... it´s because this song stands for their next album... it shows us, how mainstream this will be. How can you - as Coldplay (!!!) - present a song like this as a headliner for a next album? Not to mention that this IS NOT EVEN A Coldplay song -.- Some people could say Coldplay started beeing mainstream with X&Y... some say with VLV... but come on, THIS single is nothing else than absolute crappy mainstream music. Of course there are some nice parts here and there, but there are millions of musicians who could have written that song. Whats with Politik, Daylight, Speed of Sound? These songs were pure brilliance. I mean, even songs like In my Place and Speed of Sound are a bit mainstream, but that was okay... it was Coldplay and thats the point... this is not Coldplay anymore... they are selling the name Coldplay just for making more money and beeing more popular after realizing that Viva La Vida brought such a win in their pockets... Believe me, I am living for Coldplay... I love ALL of their Songs. Really, ALL. But this song... dont care if its good or not - it´s pop music at it´s worst -.-
  8. Well let me just say it like this: A person who was in front ( or like 6 meters from the stage as me ) and still could here the "clocks melody" or the violins in Viva La Vida AFTER the bass came in, has to be a god. Otherwise: It was my first concert so I cant compare this acoustic to other ones. But listening to the songs with a good music player ( 5.1 ) is better for sure. ( Only acoustic of course )
  9. Yeah, I know that a stadium gig needs much of bass for reaching 40.000 people. But there has to be an other opportunity so that people in front of the stage have a nice acustic, too. In fact I love a loud bass...but in my opinion it has to fill into the song. It can not be that you hear only BUM BUM BUM and a bit of Chris Martin. Where were the violins in Viva La Vida? ( Don´t know the Englisch word :D ) Where was the Piano in The Scientist after the refrain? When the bass has such a volume they should have made the guitars etc louder, too. Gosh my English is crappy, isnt it? :P
  10. Oh and @ Ilione I wasn´t against your videos ;) I only used them as an example for those people who want to make me believe that the bass was good.
  11. Nope, Im only a Coldplay fan with realism and not a fanboy...its so funny how you try to protect the god coldplay...I love them, really. But this is not the scientist...its BUM, BUM, BUM with it´s lyrics.
  12. @ Videos But how did you say? The bass isnt to loud hm? xD When the bass came in the songs are destroyed. I mean OK, the camera can not handle it, but even so you can here that it was way too much. Have a look at the scientist for example...I dont think there is much to say hm? Otherwise nice videos and pics.
  13. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQL9oU56jMI]YouTube - Coldplay Clocks Live Düsseldorf 27.08.2009[/ame] this is a video of my friend. he was exactly besides me.
  14. I know what you mean. Even when they changed to the B or C stage the sound was still coming from the front. Which was good for me by the way ;) And yeah I thought so that the bass was good for those people behind me. But in front it seemed to be 250% from what it should be. But as I said...the main thing was my body...I was not able to enjoy it anymore after those looooong hours. It´s something which makes me feel so bad now...I´m such a big Coldplay fan and I thought it will be the best day in my live and then....only because this.
  15. No, I´m not. Listen to the Left Right CD...thats a perfect example how Coldplay CAN play live. But the bass was so loud that you couldnt hear anything else. Especially Politik O_o But that wasnt the main thing. As I said I was really tired after 7 hours standing around. Even I had nothing to drink which was critical :D But I had a nice spot and Chris was really brilliant. I mean talking, jumping, running and singing perfectly. But after 7 hours standing around you can´t really enjoy the songs. You only hope that you can get out of there and drink something. But coming back to the bass thing. Would it be a bit too loud, OK. But it was louder than Chris...you were not able to hear the violins in Viva La Vida for example. Maybe it would have been better to play for 20.000 people and not for 40.000 in a football stadium. I even can´t remember how some songs were played in Düsseldorf. It´s bad I was not REALLY able to enjoy it but next time I will be better prepared. When I now see how great the show was I could kick myself that I was not able to see it when beeing there. When watching some videos now I see how great it was.
  16. Ok thanks :) I´m a bit pissed of that I was not really able to had fun at Düsseldorf...after such a long time standing at one spot I really was pissed of before Coldplay arrives on the stage. I was even more happy when a song was over than when a song was starting lol. The secong thing was the bass, which was so loud that songs like fix you or the scientist were destroyed by it. All in all it was not Coldplays fault but I´m just so tired that I was not able to have fun at such a special day where the mythos Chris Martin was playing...I had such a good spot, I got a CD and so on... Do you think they will come to Germany again next year? Or will they make some holidays? Because I don´t think they will release an album this year.
  17. Is here anyone who was at Düsseldorf AND München? Because I would like to know if the acustic was better in München because everything was open. Especially the bass was maybe not as loud as in Düsseldorf?
  18. I was maybe 5-10 meters away from stage...my body was vibrating because of the bass :D
  19. Öhh, no, I think I am one of the last people here with some realism...how I said, it was a great conert, Chris was fucking amazing but the bass ( and I am not the only one who thinks so ) was WAY to loud.
Ansonsten wars gut, keine Frage. Am besten war Chris als er die Handys forderte... yes, YES, no, no, oh jesus :D
  22. I´m so looking forward to this...at 15h I will be there and I really really really hope I will make it to the front :/
  23. 10 Uhr? O_o Viel Spaß beim Warten :D Glaube auch 13 Uhr würde reichen ;)
  24. Ich bin um 15 ca da...aber ich weiß weder wie du aussiehst, wie alt du bist, noch sonst irgendwas...und da du mich ja auch irgendwie ignorierst, kann ich das ja nicht wissen.
