So you know what to do to feel adult. Funny :) I don´t care if someone likes the new songs or not, mrkjhnwht. The point is that: 1. Nobody here knows what a producer really does in case of Coldplay and Mylo Xyloto 2. Nobody has the right to say that Brian Eno has to leave Coldplay 3. Its pretty unrealistic what people say here. MX is Coldplays masterpiece. They are unbelieveable proud of it. So any note, any tone and all "para´s" speaken in "Paradise" are there, because the band wants it there. When people say they don´t like what Coldplay does, okay. I don´t have a problem with that. I can respect that opinion and discuss about it. But first of all those "haters" should respect that it´s Coldplays work. They did it cause they wanted it.

Then you are not a Coldplay fan. End of story. Cause Paradise played in a Parachutes style would be as brilliant as Coldplay from 2000 - 2005. And also the lyrics... why are those lyrics bad? Because he does not make things unnecessary complicated? Because he speaks straight away? Some people just want to find something negative. You could take any producer you want. Do you really think Coldplay releases songs they don´t like? Do you really think he would say "MX is our best album, we don´t know hat to make it any better" if he would feel bad about MX cause its all made and changed by Brian Eno? Don´t be that naiv.

No they´re not ;) You have to loose your worries about drums that sound disco like or something... because I bet if Paradise would be a slow song like The Scientist but with exactly the same notes and lyrics, but just with "standard drums" and more acoustic feeling, everyone here would say OMG OMG OMG. But just because its a bit over the top, you are overreacting. Yes Coldplay is more mainstream than ever before. But only with two songs ;) And they are still Coldplayish. Not comparable to real pop music. Viva La Vida is exactly the same mainstream song. And also... Before X&Y everyone said its over with Coldplay, they are mainstream now. After Viva La Vida everyone said that Coldplay is lost in pop music forever... but after these LP´s they started realizing how fantastic they are. Even when X&Y was a bit too long. It will be the same with MX. It will be their best work, their best album til now. Im pretty damn sure ;) Just wait, please :)

You are just using little internet pics instead of using my arguments... so yeah, grow up. I can understand that not all people out there are pleased with ETIAW or Paradise. But why can´t you understand that these songs are just singles - like Viva La Vida - that promote the new album Mylo Xyloto? Of course those songs are a bit poppy and mainstream... like Viva La Vida was. These two songs are just good. Not more, not less. But we have a brilliant Charlie Brown, we have a nice Hurts Like Heaven and Major Minus and I´m sure songs like DLIBYH, Up In Flames, MMIX, Up With The Birds, etc will be as good as we know Coldplay. Just in an other style... like VIVA a few years ago. When you listened to the full album and still think: "Yeah, thats good. But its not good enough for Coldplay".... then it´s not Coldplay who did mistakes... then you should think about leaving Coldplay as a fan and not judge about them personally and say X,Y or Z has to leave. Nobody has the right to say that. Its not your music.

Ok, now I know whats going on here in these forums... kids like you are coming out of their dark holes for talking about things they can´t even spell. But luckily here are some real Coldplay fans, too who know how to handle this situation :) And P.S.: grow up. Just a bit, please.

Oh how funny, a facepalm picture. You don´t even know what you are all talking about. You don´t even know how Brian Eno is looking and you want to know what he is doing and that HE is the guy behind all bad songs... but when a song is epic its halleluja Coldplay... this is so hilarious... When you don´t like their music its not a member of Coldplays team who has to leave Coldplay... its a "fan" who has to leave Coldplay. They don´t write music for you... I think you are missing the point there.

Its Coldplay who write the songs. Not Brian Eno. Can´t you just realize it? Can´t you fucking realize that IT IS THE WAY COLDPLAY, and only COLDPLAY WANTS TO BE? But no... theres something bad... it has to be EMI or no... Brian Eno... are you kidding me? Its Coldplay. They want it, they do it. Like it or don´t. Who cares... Wait for friday and listen to their live performances of DLIBYH and Up In Flames. If those songs suck ( they won´t. Paradise is btw nice also. ) THEN we can talk.

You did not understand... they played it live without Rihanna... and - so the oracle - because of her missing it sounded bad and they decided to take it off the setlist. Now Rihanna is back on this song and its "amazing".

Exactly thats the point! On an album there has just to be Coldplay. Only Coldplay. And why Rihanna? Why not a girl that NO ONE ON EARTH knows? Noooo...they take a commercial girl like her... Still I believe MX will be their best work. Maybe it works great.

Ehm why not? I said its "at least" ( maybe at least doesn´t mean what I thought it would mean :D I wanted to say that Paradise is as good or even better than VLV ). Viva La Vida ist pure mainstreamness... its a good song, yes. But I don´t think Paradise is really worse... But I can just say it again: Wait for songs like MX, Up in Flames, Dlibyh, etc... those will be the good songs, I mean the really good ones. It´s always the same. But I am also a bit worried at the moment, because this Rihanna thing is making me sad :( I didn´t want to listen to Up In Flames and other songs first, but now I really have to when they play them live... I need to see if MX really is the masterpiece Coldplay wanted to create. I still think it will be.

Now that this Rihanna-News is there I can easily answer: Yep, Coldplay has given up PoC :D

The song might sound well... I mean Chris knows how PoC should sound. But it´s just... I don´t know. I don´t want to see someone else than Coldplay on an album. This is going to far...

I need it as an AAC or MP3 file :( Can´t someone help me? Send it to me from Itunes? It´s not that I won´t want to buy it. But I can´t. I tunes doesn´t work here. And when Paradise gets available on Amazon I will buy it.

Its for new fans as Speed of Sound or Viva La Vida were... not more, not less. Just wait for MX to see the real songs. Singles are always a bit commercial. But still I see the old Coldplay in Paradise.

Please dont buy Mylo Xyloto. It would be a shame for Coldplay when people like you here will own it... As I said. I don´t care if someone doesn´t like that song. But comparing them to pop musicians and say its crap is just stupid. Viva La Vida is not better at all. The whole album will have many songs we will love that will not be played at radio one time...

Guys you are incredible... This song is still Coldplay and even THIS is more complex than Backstreet Boys. Just for naming these two in one sentence should be a reason for a lifetime ban here. You don´t like it? Okay. But seriously, its good. A single is for the mainstream for buying this album. And the mainstream will like it. Viva La Vida ist even more simple than Paradise and in my opinion Paradise is better. AS ALWAYS the Coldplay fans will be listen more to those songs AROUND the singles, like Charlie Brown, Hurts Like Heaven. Now stop that crap... its not even funny anymore. You don´t like it? Well, no problem. But stop being childish...

Well, Charlie Brown would have been to obvious, Coldplay said... but in my opinion big hits need a strong melody. Paradise has some nice tunes, but I think Charlie Brown would have been the better single, commercial spoken. Of course the song will build up.... there will be Jonnys guitar later and I think the refrain will be like the beginning of those 30 seconds, just with some singing of Chris Martin. But thats not enough for a real hit, I guess.

Well it sounds indeed promising. The start is epic. But those drums are...well... a bit pop or hip hop style. But I will wait for the full song before saying something negative. But one thing is sure: This single will not nearly be as big as Clocks, Speed of Sound or Viva La Vida. That said... I think MX will be the first album without a big hit and I think it won´t sell as much copies as VIva La Vida... not nearly as much. Of course, theres a brilliant sounding Charlie Brown, but its not THAT great ( for mainstream ). And singles that release before the album does should be big. It was Etiaw and Paradise.

It´s just the way of Coldplay that fans do not like. Well, some fans ;) I love Parachutes, A rush, X&Y and Viva... and I love MX so far. But I can also understand people complaining about something, that began with X&Y: Coldplay is playing more and more for the mainstream. Thinking back to old times, you would never have expected such hip hop or pop elements in a Coldplay song as shown in Etiaw or Paradise. The only thing I can say is: I love Coldplay and when you listen carefully to all their new songs, even etiaw, you can still hear that it is Coldplay and that there is much more behind their songs, than some people think... please stop to compare their songs with Timberlake, Gaga or wannabe musicians like them. Just try to understand their music :) Its still Coldplay. Faster and better than ever before.

One question... shouldnt there be any news about paradise? Im living in Germany and here is no shop where you could preorder paradise... I thought it would release as a CD in stores?!? Or is it just a downloadsong first?
