I need a new one for Christmas any suggestions? sorry sorry sorry i know there is a different thread for qs like this - but i was sure i heard a good one in here! back to topic - still LOVING all of the pics & vids! let's hope they get back to the US soon, but again still so glad everyone is having a blast :)

Ahh Bernard! so excited your copy finally came - I'm still waiting for Christmas - it seems like you are more than happy with it though which is getting me even more excited! :) I know I haven't had a chance to comment much at all lately (damn school) but everyone's pics and concert vids are AMAZING! i LOVE the "One Day Like This Cover" - hadn't heard them play that one yet! But everything is just totally great! :) So happy and jealous of all you turkeys that got to meet the band too - how exciting! Happy Thanksgiving to anyone celebrating :)

awesome vids Karen! :) I saw Metric Open for Airborne Toxic Event over the summer - it was ok, but not nearly as good as your videos look.

Kimmi - i forgot that you had your concert already - thats wicked awesome that you got to meet the guys! You must be psyched! :) good job - so happy you had such a great time! I'll be anxiously awaiting reviews and pics and everything else - but don't worry I can wait until school is over for winter break. ( we don't get out until decemeber 23rd and go back january 18 - shortest break every - hope yours is at least a little longer. ) Jen - hahah too bad you can't get out for movies every once in a while. i guess that's what babies do to ya huh? Illione - have SO MUCH fun - i am pretty jealous, so i will live vicariously through you, if thats ok! :)

helllo people! :) I hope everyone who is going to RAH (which is monday, right?) has a fantastic time! Just got home from seeing "Pirate Radio" - it was hysterical AND at the end they had a montage of the best "rock" albums from the 60s - now! "Final Straw" was up there and it made me pretty happy :) I didn't see Coldplay but did see U2 & The Killers also, which I know will make some of you happy :) ALSO there was a preview for an Amy Adams movie called "Leap Year" and the song playing throughout was "Just Say Yes" it sounded great! OK wish I had exciting news but that is it for now! everyone have an awesome weekend :)

those posters are AMAZING... I don't even wanna say what I think is really going on because I get embarrassed when I'm wrong, but I can say that i CAN'T wait until January.

Thanks Jen - that is a better idea - I knew the music stores around here weren't carrying the deluxe edition so I was planning on Amazon whenever I get a paycheck :dozey::rolleyes:! GEEZ the lengths we go through to get our pretty hands on these things! :) good thing it's worth it!

ahhh decisions, decisions! :confused: Maybe you can call one of the big stores that appears to have it in stock? Maybe it was mislabeled or maybe they can order the one with the dvd included? What about Amazon.com or something like that? I bet they have most options! good luck :)

that happened to tickets to a concert me and my sis went to in NYC. we just called the box office the day before and told them we hadn't gotten our tickets yet and it turned out to be no big deal. They reprinted them and left us a set at the box office the next day! Hope everyone gets theirs on time! KIM thanks for posting those pics - it looks wicked awesome :) Perhaps I should have ordered the whole box set?!?!? :inquisitive: Girl's Aloud - do you know I haven't heard a single song of theirs? After the response here I think I should skip it?!?!? They are like the Spice Girls right? They were fun :rolleyes:

what did everyone think of last week's episode? I thought it was supposed to be on of those funny ones, BUT to my surprise it actually made me feel really sad! great episode though and castiel is really coming in handy!

That was one of the best twists in this whole show - michael on the boat - definitely didn't see that one coming! :shocked2: Desmond is my favorite! :) I'd follow him anywhere. that being said, i would NEVER follow John Locke - he is always getting into trouble and making the wrong decisions. ( i won't say anymore since not everyone is all caught up). my dad loves that guy too but he always brings trouble! (RIP boone). Sayid on the other hand always gets himself out of trouble - if i had to make those decisions (like they do so often) I'd follow Sayid or Jack (or Desmond for the sexiness :wink3:)! Best episodes imo: The Pilot, Greatest Hits, Flashes Before Your Eyes, and The Constant (I've never cried that hard at a tv show before). Worst episode - charlie dying! :( :dozey::confused::(

awwwww that is sad! so how do you decide which team to follow?? can i mention that i am still shocked that no one has picked up pedro? i got excited when the red sox signed "martinez" this morning but quickly realized it wasn't pedro when it said for $7.1 mill. I'll take victor though

Jen I'm right there with you! So sad that this is the last season, but it honestly is one of the most exciting shows on TV. (the pilot has to be one of the best episodes of any show ever!) I heard we will be seeing some Boone, Shannon, and Charlie in this season! Flashbacks maybe? I wonder if it's true!
