Chris and Andrew. What a time to be alive. Also, they sounded flawless tonight. You can't tell from this post but I'm incredibly emotional about Coldplay right now in a way I haven't felt since the VLV era. HELP.

Definitely my Summer Jam 2014. 10/10 but not as good as VLV or Charlie Brown. It's still amazing.

Last night I re-listened to the entirety of MX for the first time in a year and I cried the whole way through. Forgot how much I loved it.

So this video is a beautiful and lovely tribute to silent films. But what really got me was how they managed to make the love story so moving. Poor Ziyi, abused by Chris Martin's mustachioed evil twin... but magical Chris saved the day by being a good boyfriend! What a great message. As always, another wonderful creative video by Coldplay. Can't wait for the next single and video. I expect nothing short of magic. :)

I freaking adored this concert. Always In My Head sounds great, Another's Arms reminds me a ton of "Yes" off VLVODAAHF, and Midnight and Magic and Atlas sounded great live. Chris has never sounded better live, actually. And Guy playing the laser harp... too cool.

It's a brilliant little love song, and I fell in love with it pretty much on the spot, unlike Midnight (which took two listens to really fall in love with.) I like when Coldplay do acoustic ballads like this, makes me think of Parachutes, Til Kingdom Come, and some songs from the VLV era... and this one's probably my new favorite. Gonna be jamming to this one for a while. I'm giving it a 9/10 because it's not Charlie Brown or Viva La Vida. ;)

I'm back after over a year of not posting because AAAHHH New Coldplay! I haven't had that feeling in years. And wow, wow, wow. Atlas was worth every minute of waiting. It's brilliant. Beautiful, stark, epic, hopeful... it's perfect for a Hunger Games soundtrack, and wouldn't sound out of place on whatever LP6 brings us. 10/10 for sure, so glad to have my boys back! :D
