Maybe O part one will be just an instrumental track and O part 2 will have lyrics. Like life in technicolor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'd love an acoustic version of Midnight with no vocoder
  3. Coldplay has never had titles that straight up meant what the song was about. And I would really be surprised if they did another concept type album or even have an album with an overall "love story" theme.
  4. I honestly feel like it will be live versions of songs they play at the itunes festival or another live show if there's another one announced between now and the album release or it'll be acoustic versions of a certain songs or an official remix. I don't see Coldplay limiting three new tracks to the U.S only. I think new songs would be on b-sides only.
  5. Chris has said in the past that the colour song titles are just coincidence. I too think midnight could be the colour title but it seems doubtful considering ink could also be considered a title. What Chris has confirmed in the past though is that he tries to always have at least three songs on a album that starts with the same letter. This time being "A".
  6. I'm so happy the forum is back, because I would've never thought that Midnight might potentially be a b-side. And what i've noticed about b-sides is that their sound and mood slightly differ than the single. Emphasis on slightly. So maybe Magic will not be so distorted as Midnight.
  7. Incase anyone was wondering the big mylo xyloto wall is being sold for 1 million pounds. Or roughly 1.6 million canadian dollars. (u.s.a can just estimate :p ) If you're wondering how I know. I sent an email to the address given on the art expo website.
  8. When did you get the digital download? If could just elaborate how and when you got it that would be great. If not, sending it to me would be much appreciated :D
  9. When do you think we'll get the digital downloads?
  10. Sooooooo who's excited for the comic? :D I know I am! I preordered the subscription version without the lithograph. Too expensive!
  11. I don't know how people can claim this music video is intended for the "mainstream audience". If this video was put on MTV or any such channel people would be like "wtf is this, where's 16 and pregnant?" (cause MTV doesn't play music videos anymore) Mainstream people want a video like Charlie Brown, lights all over the place, people dancing and a couple making out and crap. Out of all the singles Coldplay have released from Mylo, my favorite is Charlie Brown. But I hated the video and I hated that Coldplay did something so mainstream as that video, because I'm used to the different videos Coldplay produce that isn't mainstream garbage. Yes I admit Coldplay have gone a bit mainstream but it doesn't mean that they don't still retain their style that makes them Coldplay. You'll never hear songs with lyrics such as Coldplay's on the radio. Seeing the HLH it shows me that hope isn't lost for Coldplay. Yes it does feel like it's an ad for the comics. But it's THEIR comics. I didn't see anyone flip shit when they released the trailer for THEIR live film. That was an ad! It's saying "look we have a new dvd coming out, so you should like totally pre order it" Every music video that is released is technically an ad for their single. People hear it on the radio and they either buy it or download it illegally. I'm sure there's a lot of people here who have friends who aren't crazy about Coldplay but have songs like viva la vida, paradise, ETIAW, etc. Because those songs are played on the radio as ads. Fans here are just not happy that it's not the video they wanted. Coldplay is finally breaking out of their shell, doing what they want to do and not what others want to do. How long have their fans wanted them to admit they're amazing? And now they are and people are upset about it. I think the video is amazing, and just because it's not what we're used to shouldn't' mean people should think less of it. This video fits with the likes of Strawberry Swing, Paradise, Life in Technicolor ii (my favorite video ever) etc. I could ramble for ever about this and i'm sorry if it's a bit inconsistent, but people really need to stop hating on this era, this album, song, decisions and everything else. Coldplay are their own people, they want to make all their fans happy. But just because one person or a few are not, they're not here to serve you on a silver platter.
  12. "Xyloto Mylo tour" at least get the name of the tour right, it's not happening. I can't see it happening! :p
  13. Ok no one has made the comment about this yet so I thought I might give it a shot. And if someone did mention it in some way or form I'm sorry :shifty: but this is how I'm predicting the dvd/blu ray/cd is going to be laid out. The tracklist that Coldplay has released on their website is going to be the track list on the CD so that will be the audio portion. If you look at the Live 2003 dvd/cd there are songs on the dvd that aren't on the cd. So although we might not get a live version of The Scientist, Lovers in Japan, Warning Sign, Speed of Sound, there's still a chance that they will make it on the blu ray or the "film". Now speaking of the film. I think there will be two versions to watch it. 1. The full uninterrupted concert (including the scientist, etc) 2. The concert with commentary between each song or between every few songs from the band and crew etc. For the special features, there will be the commentary minus the footage, plus other things. Sorry if it sounds all stuck up that I'm acting like I know everything, but no one mentioned it so I thought I would. Hopefully people will agree with me or like my idea :D :wink3:
  14. First he said it was over 45 minutes. Second the time we see on the wall says 7:5:08 not 75:08. The album is 45 minutes. Be satisfied with what we got. Coldplay is spoiling us with 14 tracks. Granted some of them are short instrumentals. I just wish people would stop being so greedy and wanting more and more when the boys have been working hard for 3 years. Restarting projects on and on.
  15. I'm not going to lie, the title of the thread got me really excited :p
  16. Can I have a link where I can order it and it will ship to Canada please? :)
  17. Oh and by the way, this is a totally useless thread.
  18. You could have just held back and not listened to the songs they played live. Or simply just listened to it once like the people who were at the festivals. It's your own fault, so don't complain. There's some people out there who are going to hear 11 songs totally fresh and new. Sorry you're not one of them. Don't complain about your own mistakes to others.
  19. Take your Parachutes vinyl, unwrap it and go listen to the Coldplay you desire so much. Their old stuff is still there for you to love, listen and appreciate. Every album is a new sound, new style. You see this in the way they dress, the way their instruments are designed and their concerts. So therefor perhaps Chris might change as well. It's good to see him serious for once. I just goes to show how confidant he is now. He no longer thinks they are the worst band in the world. Which is so refreshing to hear from him. If you aren't happy about change then go be a conservative coldplayer somewhere else. We don't want your negativity.
  20. MTM would actually be a really cool name for the tour! :D
