In no particular order: The Decemberists (2007) Patrick Watson (2008) The National (2010) Arcade Fire (2007) Kyteman (2009, a Dutch act) For 2010 (again in no particular order): Frightened Rabbit Jónsi The National Flight of the Conchords (although that was almost more comedy than music) LCD Soundsystem And an honourable mention for Snow Patrol because that was my first concert and I can't think of any gig that affected me more (I was bouncing for a whole week after the concert and developed a HUGE obsession). :nice: 2010 is probably my favourite live year so far, if only because I've never been to so much concerts (and festivals) in one year and I still have a lot to look forward to this month.

Sean Riley & The Slowriders [ame= ] [/ame] I stumbled upon this band the other day and I was rather surprised to learn that they're from Portugal. I like 'em. They are playing a showcase festival with lots of upcoming European acts in my town in January.

I don't see the point of this discussion. To answer the question though, I honestly couldn't care any less. I choose the music I listen to, not a general opinion, so it would not affect me at all because I just don't like that type of music. But comparing Avril Lavigne to U2 or Madonna (coming from someone who isn't terribly fond of either).. not even when hell freezes over. :nice:

I dislike any episode that focuses too much on Leonard. It's not that I don't like him, but he can be so whiney. I think Penny (the actress I mean) broke her leg, so that might affect the show a bit.

Enjoying it so far! I'm glad Leonard and Penny broke up because Leonard's behaviour really started to bug me. I switched courses twice and I wasted a year of my student grant. So at 21 I finally started the right course. That means I won't graduate until I'm 26. Sucks, but I don't really care because I'm finally doing and learning the things I want to. You shouldn't worry about not graduating on time, it happens to a lot of people.
