That being said; doesn't make it any less hilarious. :laugh3: One of the Belldom fics is being published though. So they're not all that terrible... Just some of them are.

^Yep, off to either side people were just casual. A lot of people probably went because they had applied for all the tickets and ended up with them and were like 'oh, they are free.' I think they should do it so you can only apply for bands in your iTunes library or something

Oh no, I don't mean T2L bit; should've made that clearer :lol:. It's the fact that he said that The Resistance was flawless and had been the best up until now. That's what I contest. I don't mind how you'd rank them beyond the fact that The Resistance should never, ever be first on a list (unless you're doing worst, and then I will accept it at a number one position). It was weak.

I did. Completely took me by surprise, but not going to complain! Definitely one of the better nights to get one and all. It really is luck of the draw though, my friend last year got 6 tickets and I didn't get any :lol: (Hah, Spector fan then too? After 7 shows I finally met the band; and they knew/recognised me from their previous shows and online which was cool. Bless them though, they've become more humble since they sort of exploded everywhere)

It was so much fun. Although some of the crowd were a little rubbish; I had a guy next to me on barrier that didn't dance at all I was like ABHDHDDF WHY ARE YOU HERE. There were a few celebs around. But they were in curtained off areas at the top of the roundhouse in line with the stage so it was impossible to see on the stream.

The awkward moment when someone on your T/L says: 'Well, they've done it. I didn't think they could make an album better than the flawless Resistance... But they have. The 2nd Law is the best muse album (with The Resistance =2nd)' No. Just no.

That's a personal choice then. The rest of us are totally going to be on this like a rabbit on carrots

Is anyone else having problems making the connectome actually work? I know I've supposed to have made 6/7 connections but none show up. Pile of wank.

Is it really that bad? It worries me the negativity around PhD's-- I haven't started mine yet and already I'm wondering whether I did the right thing considering everyone hates them :laugh3:

Just about to start a PhD in Virology and Immunology at a hospital. That's more doctory/medical than science these days right?

Follow Me surprises me a lot. I expected it to be a horrendously cheesy sap bag. The lyrics are (admittedly) still a little parmesan, but once it gets moving I quite like it. Me during Follow Me: Panic station is fucking AWESOME. I'm not going to lie, I literally grooved the entire way. Which is something I am totally not used to doing in a Muse song (grooving? fucking gooving?) So I am pretty sure once I get the album, this is likely to be on repeat forever. Me during Panic Station: I get a little bored during Save Me. Sorry Chris These days I can't really stand slower album songs unless in a certain mood; so maybe another time? Although, I have to admit right now, I love Chris's vocals being dominant. So much Wolstenbeastly powers. Supremacy is just beyond words. This is what the whole album should sound like. Can we get Survival taken off to have Supremacy part 2? Or just another copy of it to erase my mind of the fact they can write shite like Survival? Matt's falsetto in that is just DAYMN. Me during Supremacy: Overall it gives me more hope for T2L. But... I still will resolutely stand by the fact T2L will be Muse's weakest album. Or at least, already, there's 2 tracks I don't like at all and 2 tracks I can give or take.

Seems alright I guess.

I read someone say Follow Me is like Dead Star with a heavier chorus... But this kind of goes against what the magazines have said it sounds like so I am literally so confused :laugh3: Tonight I will ask my friend about it all and hopefully we'll have some clarity.

^My friend is going; I am so jealous. I reckon they may play a few new songs... But at the same time I don't think there will be anything we haven't heard before (like Unsustainable, Madness ect) because I reckon they are trying to play T2L as close to their chest as physically possible.

You see; this is an inadvertent troll. :lol: As I got sent a link to what supposedly was it from a source I sort of trust as they put me on to the TDCC/Vaccines leaks. Thing got shut down within a few minutes; so I'm not sure whether it was a genuine leak or a troll leak. I just left the chaos unfold here without thinking about it. But I'll take a troll credit if it is up for grabs.

^Keane, Jason Mraz and Elbow are playing on consecutive nights at The O2. It's highly unusual because most artists do more than one night there-- but not these guys so I can fit them all in over the space of a weekend. I haven't got my Elbow ticket yet-- the only ones left are rafter seats so I'm going to see if I can pick one up on twickets or outside the venue on the day considering I will be in the area. My plan is to go though, all going well.
